@@leahleonard8046 the edge of the scissors would never be sharp enough to cut an atom (the thinnest it could possibly go is the molecular width). was thinking about it and even if you had a fluke and had it dead on (to somehow squish the atom), atoms repel each other. the electrons’ probability field (em repulsion force) basically push other atoms out of the way, as normally two atoms cannot occupy the same space. pretty neat stuff

Okay, I've never talked about this publically because I didn't have a platform to at the time... But Sarah said something about how roasting LGBTQ+ profiles can accidentally out them. Well! HER (the dating app) once stole a photo of me and my now wife from my Tumblr and used it as an ad 🙃 I contacted them multiple times after they SERVED THE AD TO A FRIEND OF A FRIEND and told them I wasn't out publicly and they needed to take it down and they never did.
When you post pictures on social medias you waive the rights of the photo to most social medias and they can use it almost however they want unless it is an otherwise protected property, I believe

Not sure if it was real or a video taken from the internet, cuz that’s how easy it was to access those kinds of videos back in the day, but it definitely left a huge scar in my mind. The trauma
Omegle shared trauma is such a a weird and specific experience lol. I saw someone shoot themselves. I was like 13. and same - I’m not sure if it was real or a video because there was like, no conversation before the death so I have no idea if it was in real time or not but I’ve never seen the footage anywhere else (and after that I started traumatizing myself repeatedly on gore sites and stuff so I’ve seen quite a bit). I’m super desensitized now when it comes to death in general (I partially grew up in a funeral home but that’s another story lol) but yeah, it still pops up in my mind too. A murder is crazy. It’s fucking awful either way but I hope it was taken from the internet :(

in hindsight it’s awful but as a middle schooler i used to go on omegle and when asl was asked i always lied about my age and would make myself like 16/17 and just get groomed by men. as someone who also had a sheltered childhood when it came to the internet i had no idea what i was actually doing. scary to think about now
38:50 there is actually already studies being done to show cocomelon and constant screen time is very bad for developing baby brains. Especially with cocomelon. It is a very overstimulating show and will over stimulate the babies to the point they are getting dopamine highs, which then cause dopamine lows since they aren’t constantly overstimulated. It’s showed that 5 seconds in that show is already way more stimulating than a toddler should be watching. It’s so damaging and really scary. Cause in some cases these are the parents who don’t know how to deal with their kids crying and screaming and needing something to do, so they stick an iPad in their hands… and these will be the same parents who won’t know what to do when that iPad causes many developmental challenges and stunts as they get older. Very sad to think about.

It’s actually really normal for men to be un circumcised in Britain, it’s kinda the norm. There’s not too much of an issue with hygiene unless they’re just unhygienic in general.

One time I was on omegle video with my cat, Suri, on my lap. She was making my legs sweat so I said "ugh Sur, you're really hot" and then scooted her off. I didn't know my mic was on until the guy I was connected to replied saying "oh wow, heh, thanks" with a big smile on his face. I panicked bc I didn't know how to tell him that I was actually talking to my cat, so I just tried to say something like "have a good night" or "have a nice night" but I ended up blurting out "GOTTA GO, HAVE A GOOD NICE" and quickly hitting next. 😒 sorry dude, I'm a wreck.

Hi Brittany and Sarah, I actually met my first boyfriend on Chatroulette. It was 2010, literally right after graduation when my friend & I went on the website to goof around and we matched with a guy who happened to live in the same county, and was only a year older. He wasn’t creepy (didn’t show his junk or ask us any inappropriate questions) but he did say I was “cute.” After talking with him for a bit, my friend made us connect on Facebook, and a few weeks later we met in person. That was the beginning of our 7 year relationship. We eventually broke up.
I always forget how we actually met, because when we were kids we made a cover story so to not alarm our families that we met on a cam site.
Fun fact: omegle was one of the main locations where people in the online roleplaying community would find partners! You’d put in a fandom or interest and sometimes when paired up, the other person would put up a “starter” and encourage you to continue the story!
There are comedian podcasts that don’t make me laugh as much as Brittany and Sarah. My new favorite pod
I used to work at Victoria’s Secret and would do the floor sets so when we set up new marketing and took down the old ones we were allowed to keep the giant cutouts of models so me and a few of my coworkers drunkenly got on Omegle and put the cutout in front of the camera as we spoke for Adriana Lima to the people on the other side of the camera. I remember it so clearly it was fun as hell.
For some reason the mental image I immediately got was someone clicking “next” and being greeted by a dimly lit room full of models. Just 10 Adriana Limas lit only by the light of the monitor, watching, judging…
Now that I'm 30 I love the range of reactions I get on among us. I changed my username to Old AF and it's always one of two extremes, kids saying "omg that's so old!" or "damn grandma!" And adults with "that's not too bad I'm 28".

I met a girl in my town on Omegle when I was 12 and we STUPIDLY decided to meet up (with our parents planning the whole thing)
I turn 27 this year and she and I are still friends and I randomly run into her EVERYWHERE. I also randomly found her on this cringe wolf game when I was 13 and we didn’t know it was each other until like eight months of talking when we finally told each other our real names. And then I guessed what her last name is, and it’s a last name I have NEVER heard before or since meeting her. She was SHOOK until she realized it was me.

thinking about how, when I was 9, I got asked my age on omegle and to seem more mature I said 13💀💀
I at 13 got asked the same after connecting with a 30yr old female and chatting for 2hrs about life and I thought 16 would be a good valid answer. The person disconnected immediately (as they should)
Sarah- You learning German definitely gives me motivation to start learning German again… I was born over there and my mom and siblings are from there & speak the language. I don’t, because I’m also coincidentally a US Air Force brat! Never too late to learn another language!!
I’ve been binging these episodes and they’re all so funny and wonderful. I really appreciate your jokes, honesty, vulnerability, and the pure silliness of all these topics.
