Great tips, that’s what Com truise has been doing for years to get those juicy analog sounds from soft gear. But honestly nothing works better than just getting a real analog synth! Analog synths are a miracle of human engineering and in some way are almost alive. Nothing like starting your signal chain with some analog oscillators.
This is another gem, and I can personally appreciate the approach. Whenever I try to emulate a sound I think from the perspective of the thing I'm trying to emulate and what it's actually capable of our how it makes the sounds. Operating within the constraints of the thing itself always gets me close.
Also, as I learned from a Disclosure breakdown/tutorial, one important part is subtly saturating the bus track you direct your synths to, to kinda emulate that subtle interaction they'd have with eachother if you were using an old analoque mixing console.
Thanks 🙏 I found out that adding flanger to a high frequency and modulating the lfo to simulate the wobble also worked and to get it sounding natural keeping the flanger mix percentage somewhat low works
For me it kinda same approach but slightly different style. I like to add slight chorus on the highs... To at least try to keep it smooth... As dubstep and dnb are not really the smoothest of the genres 😅
still waiting for the day when people realise not every analog synth sounds like 90s analog synths especialy the modern ones...its like saying ''how to make your master sound like it was recorded on the tape''...its 2023 and many genres need many different sounds so not every analog synth today sounds like its played on 1956 radio
Forgive me Father, for I have synthed. 😂✌️
@@XavierB2330 They so filthy and gritty, even satan would blush 😂👌
Damn that was a goodjoke
Saturation is key
Every single short you’ve posted has been immensely useful. Thank you 🙏

Oh yea, the analog warmth!
I reccomend putting a slight vibrato on synths
Thanks!
Tape emulations works for me
And use TR5 EQ-PG to help with the weight
lord pretty flacko jodye!
I love u
I would compress it too analog synths are thick
How MIDI Switch works? I work in Logic Pro and I don’t know how to use it
Seems like you’d do better asking somewhere related to that, not this video, which has nothing to do with that.
I mean... I was asking so that I hope it appears in another video jajaja. But yes, you are right...
Or just use DIVA :)
Jokes aside, Love your stuff, Thank you.
One thing is analog is way more "hot" of a sound than vst synths, just way more saturation and peaks, makes it harder to work with
Premium material to filter.
Digital SOFT synths? That’s a new one
This is Agent Smith.
Now, how to make analog sound digital?
6. Get a Minilogue or Bass Station and call it good.

Lol.... I’ll just use my analogue synths thanks...
You tried so hard on subtitle, but making it so annoying
Cool I will sell my modular Synth now!
Naaah Not really
Pretty funny after all that, the melody is put in a shitty modern generic pop song 😂
You can't. You're only fooling yourself.
