    Sounds like the perfect formula to sound exactly like anyone else... Why even bother to do that? It's better to have 1 original song that you actually took the time to make and thought about than an album's worth of cliché basic crap that a toddler with an Ai can do with a click of a button.

    omg, lol, again this stupid shit! dua lipa used nothing in the song except her voice (and maybe some of the lyrics). She probably knows nothing about music production at all. All the credits must be addressed to her music producers which are Kevin Parker and Danny L Harle.

    Depends on what kind of music you make tbh. If you make dense layered ambient music for example, you can add as many elements as you want. It's all up to the artist

    It's cool, but his music doesn't have to be an indicator. Honestly, I don't see much quality and musical value in such productions. This isn't just a complaint against this producer, but I'm not surprised that current music is such crap with the approach of many producers who, instead of composing their own stuff, prefer to steal a melody from 20 years ago

  • @thefakeslimshady3844

  • @un_reveur

    I think that he means that 15 minutes they got to make just a base & basic elements elements. And then they spent many many hours of production, making progressions, drops, build outs and outtro. And polishing everything with filters and SFXes. If not, this man is a liar.

    • @stevieasdfghjklable
      @stevieasdfghjklable Pƙed 12 hodinami

      the song is pretty simple throughout. you're right that he means he got the main idea going in 15 mins but I imagine he likely got the rest of the arrangement done in a couple hours / one production session. in the video he says far more time was spent on mixing

      When you’re beginning you want to fill the entire space with sounds because you think you’re not doing enough. When you’re a veteran you realize that simplicity is key

    • @TierHarribel
      @TierHarribel Pƙed 5 hodinami

      @@Kai_soze It's because you're told by so many people that you need to do X or Y to be a good producer. They fail to remember that you can know all the production techniques in the world and still be a bad producer. Literally just look at the Imanbek guy, mf produced on an old laptop, using apple earbuds and had no technical skill whatsoever, but he still produced a banger that hit high up on the Billboard list.

    Hey man! Love your content. You could also draw a pitch bend curve in the audio file itself. Witch is faster than making a midi first

    • @Cableguys
      @Cableguys Pƙed 9 hodinami

      Thanks! In Live, an audio clip's Warping must be enabled to be able to draw pitch modulation. Automating a warped audio clip's pitch also preserves its timing - unlike how a turntable works (pitch down = slow down). So that doesn't sound like a proper tape stop. It can be done in other DAWs, however, eg, Logic.

    One technique I found out is that you can click on the sample, click the maximise icon and then on the dropdown select envelope and click transpose. Then just adjust the pitch

    It punches through alright, but it also adds 4 db on your master bus. Try to go a step further and fade the bass in for the length of the kick when they hit together. The truth is kick and bass will never play nice together unless they hit at slightly different times. Thank me later 😅

    Its also possible to do in the sample. Just cut that part out, double click on it, go to envelope and use MIDI CNTRL and take pitch tune. Now draw a curve so it gets down (pitching the sample down). Its a faster way and in ableton :)
