- 👍 Hello everyone! Today I'm excited to share with you an easy, inexpensive, and delicious recipe that my family loves. This easy cabbage recipe is both nutritious and filling, perfect for a quick and healthy meal.
Cabbage is a versatile vegetable that is rich in vitamins and fiber while being low in calories. Although I personally enjoy cooking with cabbage and find it to be a nutritious addition to our meals, it is important to note that individual nutritional needs and responses may vary.
This recipe consists of a combination of ground beef, cabbage, onions and spices, all cooked together to create a flavorful dish. I also added a simple tomato-based sauce to round out the flavors.
Here's what you need for the recipe:
Ingredients:
For the meatballs:
500g minced meat
2 eggs
200g cabbage
1 onion
Salt, spices to taste
60g flour
For covering:
1 small potato
Cheddar cheese
Black pepper, olive oil
100g Cheddar cheese for garnish
For the sauce:
2 tablespoons
Tomato paste
150 ml boiling water

Hello, Cindy. Just follow the recipe as is. Just make sure that (it is also mentioned in the video): When putting grated potatoes on top, make sure the proportion of potatoes is very small. No, if you want to use extra potatoes, then please boil the potatoes first, then add them in pure form, and you can put cheddar on top. I am using 1 small white potato they cook faster FYI. Sollte die Käsemenge zu groß sein, kann man diese natürlich reduzieren. Da dieses Rezept keine sehr genauen Maße erfordert, kann es ganz einfach an Ihre Vorlieben angepasst werden. Aber mit den Mengen, die ich im Rezept angegeben habe, ist es sehr ausgewogen und lecker.

Ooo; You're so right David, that's what's always on my mind too. It is so difficult to get a completely healthy vegetable and plus protein source... ! Can you imagine? It is very important to wash vegetables and be careful when choosing all foods (as possible ). I wish you all healthy (the best we can do) and delicious days. 👋
how can do this on the stove not oven.?
That sounds interesting, but frankly, I have never tried it. But now that it comes to my mind, if I were to decide to do the same recipe on the stove, I would probably do the following to see if it worked:
1-I would make the cabbage meatballs thinner
2-I would first cook the potatoes and not combine them with the meatballs as I did in the recipe, but instead serve them as potato puree.
3-The cooking would be done with the lid closed under low heat after adding the tomato sauce.
This will most probably change the taste, but you could have a new functional recipe. I believe it would taste different but still good.
If you try it, please share your thoughts with me. Maybe I'll try it as well. Thank you for the idea.
