Best channel for all MTB riders especially beginners. Keep it up!
@4:16 nice calf muscles Rich!
no matter what happens you cannot, CANNOT hate rich
Becoz they owe expensive things which are our dreams only 😅
@@angrybruh7632 they don’t own them, they get given there bikes for a year and then have to give them back
Thanks buddy, too kind
@@richardpayne5176 Holy s*** its actually you! oh my god its actually hiiiiiimmmmm
Awesome. As a switchback lover, let me add these words of wisdom by S. Beckett: “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.”
I love all gmbn videos always have done but I think you should go bikepacking again those videos are fire 🔥
Rich=da man. There’s something about R’s presentation and demonstrations that appeal to me - an amateur not wanting to be injured. Rich’s teaching is on my level of “plenty of blue-collar git” . Thanks and keep ‘em coming, Rich.
Very handy for Cannock - loads of uphill and downhill switchbacks
Got to love Cannock - this helps with the first bit on the monkey trail
Home of the uphill switchback!
@@skateanddadstroy1982 just had a look at your content and have always wanted to get to the off peste parts. Got any simple ways of getting there ?
@@hugohendon7600 best way of ride along the blue route and climb up anything you see that finishes where you are mate, there’s shitloads up Milford way 🤙
The Midlands XC race at Cannock was awesome. Shame it all had to be cancelled this year.
Cool tips Rich!💯 Im not a fan of switchbacks but what you struggle with, you have to sesh it over n over 👊😎
Love this episode! Thanks Rich! And thanks GMBN!
Great video! Will help lots of people to build confidence!!!
Keeo it up guys!!
GMBN rocks 🎸 😎 !
Mountain biking has exploded around perth, western Australia there's some really epic trails would love to see you guys down this way once the pandemic has died off
Thanks for making this one.
Just what I needed
Great tips!!
Good show!
Thanks for the tips. had some trouble climbing switchbacks. And i might need to get the hang of those endo's...
So helpful
loving these tutorials!!
This channel is one of my top 2 favourite channels on the internet
Gmbn can you do a vid on how to ride tighter sections
guys your are awsome!!!
bicycletta love!
When are the GMBN jerseys getting back on stock??? (Or more M sizes;) Want to buy one so bad!! Thnx
Serious question @Rich - is there anyway to ride UP a deeply rutted trail switchback?
Not the smooth highway in the video but about a foot wide, carved 6 inches deep by lunatic downhillers and water for pedalstriking fun and just for extra entertainment is covered in normal Aussie calcrete marbles. Honestly, it looks more like the down track in this vid.
Since trail maintenance seems entirely absent, I'm thinking it's time to start a wide B line. I don't see any way of pedalling up but I'm a n00b. Thoughts?
Looks like Afan. S4 is a mint trail.
Those are not switchbacks. Those are simply tight turns. Nicely ridden, but not the major switchbacks we have here in CO where the trail gets narrower at the apex. Basic trials skills required!
Epic vid
Great vid... The lighting tho😬
I thought you were going to ride up the same switchback uphill too. Could you do it?
Sick video as usual
Need to come to California. These switchbacks are cake, California will be more like the 1st but with sharp rock and steps, and a 180º in 1 meter.
Stage 4 next to zig zags and elevator in afan
Spot on.
Do a "Can roadies ride mtb" with manon please! would love to see that video.
They already made on this topic
@@angrybruh7632 But not with manon, the new gcn presenter. i would really love to see what she can do on an mtb considering she rode proffesionaly for UCI's women team.
@@gabrieldelagente1028 so they will make ''can MTBers ride roadeo a50 INVERTED SHOX
i wanna see blake on that 100%
@@gabrieldelagente1028 why , becoz he love hardtails or you want to see that he is shredding him on Rocky trails
Cool
Where is my favorite-- Scandinavian flick 🧐
I'm joining my high schools mtb team and I need a bike. I asked the coach and he said a generic cross-country mtb should be fine for my first year. I have only ridden bmx my whole life and have never been on a trail before. What do you guys recommend for around $1500 USD or less?
The Giant Talon series is a good value. I have a 2021 Talon 0 and it’s excellent but I’m not sure if it’s available in the US. The 0 has upgraded components and you’ll have some cash left over for new pedals, grips and a dropper post.
The trick is actually finding bikes in stock. They are thin on the ground right now.
I want to see a random tandem double suicide no hander.
Rich = "Put some flats on" Camera = Here are your clips
This is epic
Switch?
Back!
Do they reply?
Hello gmbn! it would really brighten my day if you pinned this! have a good day!
How to make the same video over and over again :P That first downhill switchback looked awful/amazing, good skills.
*Early gang* ....I accidentally pressed it actually........
Uphill I got. Down not so much
nice..
damn rich is lovable
No issues with assembly for me czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L but I could see where some might benefit from using an experienced bike assembler/mechanic. I'm an older rider starting back after a 10 year break. This bike exceeds my capabilities and has been easy to get comfortable riding. I'm mostly on easy trails with almost no street riding and have not been disappointed with the performance of the bike. My fitness level is far below what I previously rode with and because of that the mileage is going on the bike slowly. While I'm losing weight slowly, the bike seems to tolerate my 220 pounds just fine. The bike has been used by several family members ranging from 5'5" - 5'9".
Someone buy me a new bike 😄
I like very well your videos... But for a French boy.... It's a little bit difficult to understand all you (the Chanel) say.... Thanks.
This product is not white. It's more a sand color
Looks so easy until I get on my bike and then eat shit

Without further a Jew ? 😂
Well that was painful!!... not this video but the ridiculous ad for Joe Biden😂 Trump 2020🇺🇸 sooo anyway great video with helpful tips. I have one switchback that always gets the best of me on local trail..Going to see if this helps!!✅
