The Saad truth began 30 years ago.
OMG! I recently re-read my MA Thesis -- it was worse than I had remembered! Imperial Purple: I talk about snails & Pliny the Elder's Natural History; I talk about the modern-day Lebanese cities of Tyre & Sidon, and their respective red-purple/blue-purple snails; it does not get 'sexy' until I launch into the Dye for making Purple-Glass, and relative pricing.
"Imperial Purple textile dye is the costliest substance in Antiquity" versus "Manganese
Dioxide (MnO2) comes from literal dirt."
Actually, my inner chemist thinks that's really interesting...
@@Reziac One of your Chemistry Colleagues, Chris Cooksey?, was extremely kind to me, a lowly MA student, 20-some years ago. I think he must have been amused because I was approaching Purple from an unexpected viewpoint. He was kind & very supportive of my Thesis. (Thank you, Chemists! 🥰)

Stepping through the logic of your doctoral thesis was interesting stuff. And as soon as you pointed out that the trend was not linear... dang, that's self-evident, and here's the data!
Congratulations. My husband defended his doctorate in Cultural Geography in 1999.
Had, very interesting and I could understand it at some level. Another but equivalent to the concave model is introducing a confident factor that increases as a choice survives more attributes and adds to the independent attributes advantage 36:21 . I think this is how my brain works. :)
