Gad Saad is in a field with few jobs. As a physicist I had no problem leaving Canada and then I left California in 1995. I never regretted on bit. In fact, I left for even a safer job.
California was more than Canada and Quebec an intellectually sick place in 1995: I was in Berkekely after all. Post-Modernism and science rejection from the left was already rampant then. When I first came to the USA, I was fearful of the Christian right... only to discover that the left had morphed into something worse.
First they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Hindus, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a Hindu.
Then they came for the Christians, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a Christian.

One of the thing that amazed me about Rogan was when Gad Saad asked him "how many Jews in the world?". Rogan guessed 1 billion.
This is precisely why the Jews are so hated. Rogan knows their presence in so many fields. So he ignorantly guessed that since they are so present everywhere, there must be just as many Jews as there are Christian people or Chinese, etc.....
Given their minscule numbers, people then assume that their success must be the result of some Jewish conspiracy. I am a physicist and I am amazed that the department I will soon visit in the USA is 25% Jews despite the fact that Jews are less than 2% of the USA population.
What is sad is than many of my Jewish colleagues will sing the virtue of Equity and Inclusion. Well if they resign in droves, that would help Equity!!!!

Gad describes violence from the Muslim neighbors and it is terrible, but he calls the Lebanese Christians the same. It is normal in the Middle East to have tribal fights between groups, so persecution based on religion should be separated from persecution based on ethnicity.
The Holocaust and every historical anti-Semitic persecution in Europe is serious because it is persecution based on ethnicity - and it is so serious because the individual has nothing to do about his ethnicity. compared to religion which is subject to the absolute choice of the person.
If Gad told his neighbors I am converted to Islam, or a Lebanese Christian converted to Islam, the Muslims would not have any problem. Therefore it is important to separate these things.

Hey Guys you are being unfair to your own efforts. 10 years ago we actually believed that a few thousand approvers must represent the global opinion. Now your tweet gets few million views and your channel must have few million likes. It is necessary to always assume that once you get into numbers there will always be 3 to 10% angry nay sayers who spend their time online creating their identity based on hate and disagreement. Living in india with 1400 million that means that for naysayers and journalists this country will always be the pits because 100 million plus will always live in poverty and neglect. Thats less than 10% but a huge number. The good news is that all the way here Rubin and Gaad have helped people in good ways. So lets bring in optimism about great benefits of this new media.

For the amount that you stress the importance of epistemicl humility I don't of don't get why you feel the need to speak with Dave Rubin and not really have a dialogue around why his brain is empty and he doesn't actually have the capacity think critically. He agrees with you, and takes your opinion on most beliefs more or less the same, but that is only because his brain is empty and he is willing to have it filled with what would make him the most money. It should be clear for somebody of your calibre that he is not an intelligent or well meaning person, and I think it does you a disservice to not really call him out on it, even if being on his platform can be positive for you.
I really appreciate your message, I really just think that having softball interviews like this where you neither have anything you disagree on, because him disagreeing with you would be against his entire business model just debases you.
You are obviously free to do whatever talking gigs you want and to spread your message however you want, but this relationship with Dave Rubin does not appear to show that you respect him or show your intellectual rigour.
Why all the Dave Rubin hate? These 'softball' interviews allow Gad to reach a wider audience and the common person. If you want to listen to scholarly lectures from Dr. Saad, this is not the platform for that. Gad is also promoting his book right, so you need to consider that.
I don't agree with everything Dave Rubin says, but I wouldn't say his brain is empty. It's good to hear how Gad responds in this context.
