      Thanks. Awesome christmas gift from my wife. Also places them in a better spot. Instead of seeing my shoulders, its lower so i see past my wrists.

    Hey I can’t find a steering damper anywhere. Did you make your own brackets?

    • @Snakes709
      @Snakes709  Před 2 lety +1

      Bryan Michel, goes by Bryan468 on H2sxriders.net makes the brackets. Bought a revalved manual ohlins damper off a H2 rider.

    Hey what brand did you go with for your carbon fiber? Bikes sweet man

    • @Snakes709
      @Snakes709  Před 2 lety +1

      Motocomposite. Pretty decent quality. Had a few fitment issues due to the parts being for the actual H2 and it was listed for the sx as well.

      @@Snakes709 thank you. I watched your drag race. Awesome man. I’m trying to decide what company I want to go with. Rpm carbon makes some nice parts. Motocomposits are nice , and tekacarbon .

    From what I can tell in sales pictures the carbon fiber intake does not have any holes cut in it like the factory one does. Does it make a difference in sound when your driving it. I.e. harder/quieter to hear the supercharger chirp when riding it.

    • @Snakes709
      @Snakes709  Před 4 lety

      It has holes on the inner side where the rectifier is and has a drain hole on the bottom. No difference in performance or sound but it is lighter.

    How’s the bike running? I’m bringing my H2 sx se to Yagerworx for my build . Have you had any issues? Do you feel a big difference in the bike at 210 hp ?

    • @Snakes709
      @Snakes709  Před 2 lety +1

      Bike is running great. Just shy of 24,000kms with no issues. Got my bike apart at the moment as i did my valve clearance adjustment and other parts of the big service. Just waiting on back ordered parts. Huge power increase from stock. Decent change in power with adding the intercooler and reflash the ecu for more timing. Picked up 3mph in the 1/4 mile. Intercooler really shines during track days. I can beat on the bike all day, regardless of ambient temps and the boost temps stay low. You wont be disappointed with travis’s work.

      @@Snakes709 awesome thank you so much. I’m going with the full vandemon H2R style exhaust, air filter, intercooler, blow off valve, super charger gears, clutch kit. I’m probably forgetting something. But I’m shooting for the moon. Stay safe and thank you again.

      @@chriswade3986 sounds like it will be a beast. Just be careful, as travis will tell you, this motor isnt as strong as the H2 or H2R.

    • @chriswade3986

      @@Snakes709 absolutely. . Smaller throttle bodies, higher compression, round exhaust ports instead of the oval ones on the H2 and H2R . I’m buying a 2021 H2 carbon when I’m finished with my H2 sx se. My wife said I have to get rid of 4 of my other bikes before I can buy it . Lol . I honestly don’t have any room for it so I will be making room.

    did you have to put spacers on the header so it could bolt up properly to the head?

    • @Snakes709
      @Snakes709  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, 5mm spacers between the flanges and runners. Had a metal shop make them for me for $75.
