Kimchi comes in various flavors and forms. There are over 200 different types of kimchis. The white version is not so spicy but very refreshing and great for summer😊.

I had my Monday lunch and half of my workout while listening/watching your meals being made! Yay to mindful eating! Korean is one of my absolute favorite types of food to eat. That sweet and delectable non kimchi is pickled daikon radish and yes it’s addictive!!

Note about Korean food: bibimbap is typically eaten with a gochujang (Korean red pepper paste) based sauce (not Sriracha-based). In general, gochujang and/or red pepper flakes are used in Korean cooking as opposed to Sriracha.
If you can find gochujang, try making a quick sauce by mixing it with some honey/sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil (optional for extra flavor). That will taste much more like actual bibimbap! You can also use the sauce on any "bowl" creations you make and it will create a similar flavor effect to bibimbap and a lot of other Korean dishes :). That's what I often do and it creates a quick Korean-inspired meal!

Yeah if you want to have foamy milk it needs some sugar in it otherwise it doesn’t really work. An electric whisk does foam it up a bit but still not as foamy. If you want foamy milk and a lower calorie option I recommend the Alpro barista coconut or almond milk. I also think they taste the best with coffee 👌

Hi! I love your videos!! I have a little tip for making humus for you! You should save a bit of your chickpea water from the can and that makes it super creamy! Also adding some olive oil, garlic, and salt make it super tasty!!❤

When I eat something delicious, my eyes automatically close. Because I want to pay attention to my taste buds. You have to block your sight and focus only on your taste buds to feel better😋

I know I’m not Anna and I’m only speaking from what I know myself, but Anna talks about balance a lot and I personally think that a burger isn’t going to hurt especially if the rest of your diet is nutritious. So girl, eat that burger if that’s what’s right for you 🍔

Korea's kimchi is not just red kimchi. There are so many different kinds of kimchi, and among them is 백김치(baekgimchi) called white kimchi.
Bibimbap should be mixed well so that rice, ingredients, and seasoning are mixed evenly, but I wanted to show you the taste of Korean household bibimbap while watching it😂

Hi Anna. I hope you're doing well. I have some queries. Could you please help me? When I was 13 I used to lose weight and I lost 10 kg weight in just 1 month. I always felt hungry and lack of energy. Now I'm 16. Almost every carbs and fat were my fear food. I had anorexia nervosa. But now I'm fully dedicated to recovery, I've gained some weight as I was underweight but I lost my period again in 6 months by going through no carb diet and exercising. Please suggest me how can I lead a normal life? I also still have those fears about food. I appreciate your response....
Hi ! I'm 15 and I also went through different eating disorders in my teenage years (anorexia, orthorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder), which made me lose a shit ton of weight and made it impossible for me to have my first period, until... A few months ago, I treated responsibly my body, which meant allowing myself to slow down and let loose for a moment. Intense exercise and zero carb are stressors to the human body (cortisol release) and that much stress all the time is detrimental for the hormonal balance of the female body, if done in your entire 28-32 day cycle. If you really want to stick to your lifestyle, I recommend to put on some variations. I personally go low carb/HIIT in my menstrual & follicular phase (day 1-10) because all of my sex hormones are low with my estrogen starting to build up, which makes my body resistant to stress. Then during ovulation (day 10-15), I go higher carb AND do HIIT/Resistance training because my hormones peak (including testosterone) which make my performance & recovery real fast ! Then my hormones drop again (day 15-19) which is perfect to get away with low carb/do HIIT. Then the last part : the luteal phase (day 19-28/32) when I have to increase carbohydrate intake and do light exercise (yoga, walking, pilates) in order for my body to rest (because cortisol counteracts progesterone) and prevent menstrual cramps. That is what works for me, keeps me active, motivated and makes me feel very good ! I used, like you, to stay low carb and force myself to exercise all month long but that is only suitable for men, who have a 24 hour cycle and one regular hormone to take care of. I wish you the very best and I hope this helps !!! :)

Then I again went for low carb which was the biggest mistake of mine. I'm eating high calories now with balanced carbs and fat and I also go for light work out. Now I think being healthy is more important than being skinny. I don't like to see how skinny I was at the age of 13!!! Now I wanna be healthy and happy like Anna.
@@NusratJahan-hd2uj Aww thanks for your concern ! After 4 years of struggle, I'm finally starting to recover (mindset-wise). I've had terrible habits unrelated to my ED (irregular sleep schedules, staying in toxic relationships, stressing too much about my grades, not exercising at all) which put my set point weight through a total rollercoaster. I'm on the higher end of my set point weight now (a healthy weight!) and care way more about my health because I was starting to have chronic pain. That's when I realized that when someone focuses about weight loss, they lose their health, and when someone above their setpoint weight (=whose body is not usually at a higher fat percentage) focuses on health, body recomposition or weight loss may only be a byproduct of the habits that makes them feel good. Health is a luxury, and without health, no one can pursue their dreams !Personally, ED recovery coaches aren't suitable for me because they reject diet culture (including health culture) altogether. I personally like the freedom of picking here and there eating principles that I will keep in the long run (ex. Intuitive eating on listening to my hunger/fullness cues, "Healthy Emmie" on the term "releasing" weight rather than "losing" weight, the metabolic flexibility/health benefits of being a sugar/fat burner throughout the month, and not ever missing a social occasion because of a stupid macro counter !). The point I'm trying to make is that you don't have to follow a specific plan to be healthy. I love pairing the self compassion of intuitive eating as well as eating what makes my body supply quality energy ! (Additionally, I'm going to therapy because of other neurological anomalies which make my life unnecessarily hard on a daily basis, which does help with my ED without explicitly tackling it). Also, never forget that what counts is the bigger picture, one meal isn't going to make or break you. Self compassion is the foundation of self worth, which keeps you motivated to always keep going on whatever you started 🥰 I hope that this helps and I absolutely know that you can do it !!!
