no, I had to add that because the car didn't have enough power on the uphill sections and straightaways, I have the gravity set to a little under the jupiter setting in-game so I got the arcade-like handling I was going for, which made it look sped up and the song ending at the end didn't help with people thinking I sped this up when in reality this was all done in real time
Haha I thought I was the only one who did the Jupiter gravity thing! I find that you can have the gravity turned down a bit weaker if you download the VTEC mod and use the 15x8 wheels with the VTEC spec tires. That’s how I get that Shingo effect anyway.

I had it set to Jupiter gravity so the car would stick around the corners at a relatively quick speed, which also gives it the illusion that the video is in fast forward

@@user-fk7sd2qh1s I saw a video of someone doing laps around a track with different gravity a few years ago but I can't find it, basically the increased gravity gives the illusion that it's sped up, I may make a video to show that but it's like how a lower gravity looks like slow motion, that and I'm going downhill so the gravity pulls it down faster

at the time this was the only car that was in Initial D that was also in Beam, IIRC the 86 mod came out after this one, and this video was made before the 86 was released, honestly if I made this video today I would've crashed into the wall in the parking lot at the end, also no multiplayer mod back then, and the AI wouldn't drive the car fast and if they did they'd crash at like turn 2
