  • When I see questions "My positioning is perfect, why do I lose?" or "My aim is great, why am I losing still?"
    #gaming #apexlegends #sponsoredbyea
    I know people will roast the video saying the answer is easy. But if it was easy...why do I see the same question being asked? I hope by making this video it opens the eyes of everyone on how we need to be diligent in still practicing. No positioning or aim is perfect. If it was...well you would be the best player in the world. Simple as that!

      Hey Dazs, I was wondering if you could address how to improve as a squad. I normally play with two of my friends and we're looking at ways we can improve as a coordinated group. Most videos out there say Play together a lot and communicate a lot, but there's a lot more going on. I played collegiate Overwatch back in the day and I know there was way more we focused in on rather than just roles and who's the main shotcaller. Ult tracking and ability tracking are two of the things that carry over along with focus fire, but were little things here and there that helped us follow up more on pushes, understanding when a fight is winnable, etc. I was wondering what are some of micro you can focus on that are unique to team play in Apex. I know this is a bit more focused then some of the coaching vids you've done so I understand if you're not planning anything around team micro improvements.

    This was honestly mindblowing. As a casual player with about 600-700 hours I've watched a ton of videos from you and other creators, done aim training, tried to implement as many tips, tricks and good habits as possible but am still having major issues winning fights - this breakdown was a completely fresh way of looking at it and actually putting a name to some of the things we probably do subconsciously but don't actually execute with purpose where we should. So I thoroughly enjoyed it and thank you for the effort that went into it!

    this is one of the best videos to get better because you are giving tips with concrete excamples. love that stuff - the concept with a checkbox, I love that because you got a basic ground what to look at

      @@Dazs You would be a great fighting player with this mindset - coming from tekken 7 player and I think alot of people could in apex could use some of the concepts you mentioned. But yeah some people just want to complain and dont want to put any time to get better. they want quick fixes which are not possible. maybe seeing little victories for excample like winning a gunfight, game awareness or just resourse mangement could help alot

    love this checklist, whenever I'm getting into a fight and when playing with a friend, they just don't approach the fight in the same way, and they just jump into fights to capitalize on cracks without thinking that the teammates of the opponents team are also looking for us to be in the open when my teammate is pushing, and they get knocked. this is a repeating cycle for me , could you give some tips on that for me? cuz of this I just am loving soloqueing more this season.

    I think this an excellent video really helped how to actually improve with out people just telling you to practice or watch replays. Nobody really tells u how to I guess break down what your doing wrong and how to correct that. A good example is the aiming part u mention if you are behind cover and you have the surprise advantage than the only possible reason u could have lost was cause of poor aim so focus on that. This great is a great vid and what is said actually makes a lot sense once you think about it.Keep up the good work!!!!😊

    First off, great guide that will be helpful to lots of players.
    unfortunately after 6000 hours these things just happen without having to think about it. You just do it unconsciously, so this wasn't really that helpful to me. But after such a long time it also gets easier to identify your problems. My 2 current issues are that i do too much of this positioning stuff in pubs, meaning i always take fights in a way that will guarantee me winning despite having better mechanical skill than 99% of the lobby. So naturally all my fights can take a bit longer than just straight aping, limiting the amount of kills i can get that game. Really been working on that since S16. i broke my Kill record 2 days ago on wattson with 27 kills and farmed a world record worthy mount of kills that day. i think i'll be able to call this issue fixed soon.
    The other problem is a bit more complicated. It's bad communication in ranked due to years of Social anxiety and childhood trauma. It's not like i need comms to W key ranked with my team in the current system but it's a skill worth improving upon.

    This is great insight, having good aim is great but it's worthless if you don't know how to use it, overtime seems players are getting better overall and now the game is full of sweats that play properly and the game seems harder and I start to notice where my mistakes are at...

    positioning matters even after u get knocked. cant count how many times my teammates just stay in the open, or not move at all from an unsafe location, after being knocked 😓

    Dazs how to remove bad habits, like when i facing the enemy squad, lot of the time i endup being flanker (cz my party they just yolo to start the gunfight, my pt is not a random guy, they actually my friends). I know what I should do, I just need to blast them, because it's clear they don't realize my presence. but for some reason, i even showed myself to them and ran towards them, yes the best result was that i could knock 2 of them, but it's really hard to kill all 3 of them because of this bad habit.

    quick question, what is a head glitch?

    • @Dazs
      @Dazs  Před rokem +2

      Fast answer is ensuring your hitbox is as small as possible where only your head appears and you can still hit your opponent. The term head glitch is how fps games were broken and you can hit someone yet they could not see your head or barely see it.

    • @imjonkatz
      @imjonkatz Před rokem +1

      Imagine a wall that is half or three quarters the height of your character. Crouching will give you full cover and standing up will give you view of your enemy but minimize their target.
      These are easily found on slopes and around boxes. Try to always play a head glitch; ALWAYS.

    Don’t know who needs to hear this but if your actually wanting to be better be completely honest with yourself quit making excuses for why you died. I have a friend that always says my teammates this or that weren’t there or there cheating always an excuse for why he lost. If he was honest he would say well I could have said wait or I could have been there or I didn’t pay attention to the mini map or there positions or there aim was actually just better. Claiming someone is cheating or blaming something someone besides you should be your last reason you make up.
