You obviously know your stuff, but more importantly, you know how to explain it to people like me that have never done it and might be contemplating doing it ourselves. Thanks.

Glad you explain the proper way to adjust the wheel bearings. Most don't do it correctly. There is a guy on here doing a 56 chevy and he says to adjust the bearings to 33 ft lbs. Thats crazy and will burn up the bearings or even sheer off the spindle!

John Terpack Me either but it makes sense. I got the guys video that said to torque timken bearings to 33 ft lbs removed from You tube! Very dangerous

@@fiddlerpin makes a lot of sense. Wish I'd known it sooner.
I'm surprised they pulled the other video. Normally they don't seem to care about dangerous misinformation.

His video on 56 disk brakes is back on but has been edited. No mention of torque value on the wheel bearings

I like your technique for adjusting the wheel bearings. I have seen other videos here that show it done wrong. I use your technique on all my disk brake jobs now.

Question. Why won't the race that was originally on the rotor work? Why did you have to remove and replace? I'm in the middle of installing my conversion but skipped that step. I think that might be my problem actually. I have a 65 Wlidcat Deluxe coupe.

If you didnt notice there's a web address in bottom right corner. If you type that in your address bar of you browser and press enter it will open a manufacturer web site and if you look into it a bit further in "products" you'll be able to see a particular kit for sale but if its just to much for ya, here is direct link but you have to point a mouse pointer to it and press left mouse button:
