    Can you more specifically differ the welding on the basis of requirement like why a specific welding is used for a specific purpose.

    "plasma is used to weld instead of the arc" are they not the same?

    What is actually the function of the plasma gas? Is it as the heat energy to melt the work piece? And does the tungsten electrode melt alongwith the work piece? Thnx for the answer.

      The tungsten is a conductor, and is not consumed during welding.

    Can we use any gas for ionisation or there are some conditions?

    • @EngineersAcademy9204

      Typically argon or helium are... Used.

    • @EngineersAcademy9204
      @EngineersAcademy9204  Před 4 lety

      No Brother Plasma gas is what actually used in the Cutting Process While the orifice gas is the shielding gas, N both are Different.
