- This is a video of my journey of breeding pigeons in January 2021. I have 8 pairs of Birmingham rollers that I’ll be breeding off. The birds are from the following strains - Mason’s, Birketts & Ollie Harris x Masons. You will see me pairing the birds, waiting for them to lay, the first eggs and then when the eggs hatch. #pigeons #breeding #birminghamrollers

I've had rollers for years, we used to run the East Anglian Roller Club until we lost quite a few members. It's nice to see someone local who keeps them flying.

Yeh, I have to travel to pick up good birds too. All of them seem to be quite some distance from me.

Hi Gaz, it’s not easy to get good young birds but best bet would be to get in touch with local flyers, reputable roller flyers in the All England or English Open Fly. Hopefully someone can breed you some young birds next year to start with.

What cups are those, and are they hung on the wood?
They are small nest box cups with plastic handles. They kind of sit on to the nest box fronts.
