- 7 Cha Brothers Loft here!!! Come watch my progress, from start to finish, of “Project Breeding Loft”. I decided to turn my shed into my new breeding loft. This will give my racing pigeons more space in the lofts to breed.

Very nice. Solar fans are sweet. Sun's out fans on. Sun g9es down fan goes off. And yes that 1/2" hardware cloth will shred tail feathers. That's why I like Europe's dowel walls. No wire to shred feathers. And also great idea with decking. I did the same for the floor inside my main loft. Woeks well. Thanks for sharing you journey in building

Fan is still running very well! Feathers and dust are building up on the fan. So I know it is doing its job.
Cut some holes in the floor chicken mesh it that fan siucking out drag all cool air from under the loft
If my loft was way higher off the ground, I will cut holes on the floor to use as vents. But this loft is still close to the ground. I plan cut some vents on the wall near the floor in the near future.

I didn't raise the loft/shed, because the shed was built there since 2009. I also didn't make the aviary higher off the ground, because I wanted to make it a walk-in to fit me. If I raised it, there will be no way of me walking in the aviary.

What are the requirements for building a new loft in Saint Paul
I think for St. Paul, you will need a permit.

lmao!!!! I will definitely not fit that hole where the fan sits. I left an open hole where I can access the fan if the fan was to ever break or if I need to clean the fan.

No, definitely not using cheap fans for this purpose. The fan is $189.99 from Menards.

Lol! For some odd reason, I say dope a lot. lol! As of now, I am only sending pigeons out to OLRs and to futurities.
