I love rewatching your videos as I wait really ready to see some more content on cans thanks
Awesome man, thanks for the support!😎👊🏻
You’re further justifying the purchase I made 2 months ago. Lol I appreciate the content, brother!
Haha, nice 😎 Glad to be of assistance 😉
Good bed stand set up, my wife hates waking up to muzzle flash and ear ringing percussion. Great explanation of what the booster does, straightforward, short and simple. Thanks!
Anything to keep the wife happy 😆
Thanks man 🤙
Excellent review 👍
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it 😎
Was pretty cool that JK , sent it to you. Myself I was not able to divide much suppression. But it would not fit into my nich, of needed or must have.
Ya, it’s not for everyone. For most folks it’s probably new to stick with “traditional” cans. The lack of a booster is really nice though…less things to wear out and break.
What's up Marine, I was just watching one of your older vids and you dropping a new one.
Hey Richard 👊🏻
We had some obstacles getting this video posted, specifically with weather, editing and getting the channel deleted halfway through 😅
thanks for also running it on a .22, i'm thinking about this for both my 9 and .22.
I didn’t have a 22 cal front cap for this video. I’m sure it’d be better if I had one though. Pretty impressive as is however 👌
@Caleb Downing I looked at the JKA site, doesn't seem like they are offering it to purchase, I would like to buy more baffles for the CCX also but not sure if they are doing that.
They won’t sell the baffles by themselves anymore but you can get the front caps over at SilencerShop 😉
😊 very informative and detailed evaluation and demonstration. I'm trying to decide on this unit and a HUXWRX ca$h 9k
Hopefully the video was helpful. That can be a hard decision, choosing the right can.
Try and buy a can that will fit your needs vs adjusting your needs to fit a specific can. Hopefully that makes sense 🤔
The Rad9 is my favorite can, it does everything well. I EDC the Rad9 in K config (with Griffin Cam-LOK) which is a CA$H9K with a booster. At ear suppressoon is remarkable.
I suggest Rad9 vs CA$H9. By the time you pay for the booster you court almost pay for the Rad9.
Meant to say that Rad9 v CCX are apples v bacon. They have little use case overlap so be very clear on your purpose.
You can shoot a Rad9 all day. CCX will have to cool off. Buy both if you can afford it.
Oddly, I can EDC the Rad9 in K config with Cam-LOK, but cannot do that with the CCX. Neither JK or Griffin will make a Cam-LOK for the CCX.
U should try it in this config mount 2 baffles spacer 3 baffles and then the cap and see if it helps to better reduce the gas out and sound capture
Not a bad idea 🤔 I’ll try that next outing 👍
Another great video!!!
Awesome, thanks Joel! 😎🤙
Im putting on my sub compact 100%
There ya go 😎👌
I’ve been thinking about buying one of these for a carry gun
It’s about the only can that you could practically conceal carry. Someone just needs to make a holster that’ll cover it.
@@CalebDowning the one thing that scares me about running a wet suppressor on a conceal carry gun is hollowpoint ammunition. I don’t want the hollow point to expand when it hits something like petroleum jelly. I really don’t want can to blow up.
Hmm, I can see your concern. That’s where using something like lithium grease may work better. It’s not going to really melt and drip into the bore line like some other materials could.
Now if your talking about moisture getting in the bore line while shooting… I can see that concern but I wouldn’t worry about it much. Just don’t overfill your can with material.
I’ve shot wet suppressors for years and never had a problem with rounds bursting in the can. Admittedly I normally use FMJs but I have run HPs without issues 👌
I was waiting for the Subsonic test ...
That’s all I had out with me when I was shooting this video 😏 I did post a reel on Instagram where I shoot supers and subs in all the different lengths. I’ll repost it here on YT.
Be interesting to see how it performs on a Flux P320
I still need to try that combo. Thanks for reminding me, I’ll make sure it’s on the list.
Are you shooting supersonic ammo on a suppressor???
I noted it in the video, should be a banner of some sort during the shooting portion. It’s pretty hard to miss if you watch the video 🧐
They call it tone technology but its just different baffle. not much tech going on there. its more of a marketing thing than anything. I have one of these type of suppressors. mine looks almost identical to the JKA except mine is all steel. I use mine on my ar9. it works very well. mine is also 1.33 inch in diameter so mine has more volume per baffle area. I guess mine is compatible with B tube endcaps and barrel mounts, like the ones from SD tactical. I really like these type of suppressors. it would be nice if we could see more of the this suppressor. like closeups of each of the parts.
Nice dude 👍 I haven’t use any SD Tactical cans, I’ll have to check them out 🤔
Just watched your Odessa 9 video, how does this stack up at comparable lengths, wet/dry?
The CCX is definitely lighter and shorter. I haven’t compared them against each other directly, that’s definitely something I’m gonna do though 😎👍
@@CalebDowning Awesome! I look forward to that review. I am really considering the JK 105 CCX on a P365x. JK told me that the CCX, with 22 end cap, works quite well on 22lr as well. (take that for what it’s worth)
The CCX can actually be used as a carry can. It can be shortened substantially shorter than the Odessa as well.
I haven’t purchased the 22 end cap yet but that is something I’ve looked at. I’ll bet it would sounds pretty good 🤔
How would the CCX be for a house gun?
It’d take the edge off, which is all it needs to do 🤙
What Magwell is on the Glock ??
I believe that’s the Magpul one.
If the fed bois wouldn't of ruined form 1 solvent traps you could order one kinda like this made out of 304 steel for around 60 bones from asia and the aluminum ones for 22 were ever cheaper.
Tempting, I know 🤦♂️
@@CalebDowning when they did that they said any parts intended to be a supressor need regulated by the ATF because of the intention when made.
But parts outside of their jurisdiction can't be regulated by them so form 1 should still work for parts outside their regulation.
I been meaning to email or call and ask.
Because you can't form 4 solvent traps in Asia because they don't do that and it's outside the ATF jurisdiction.
Ya, but once you buy one of those pieces and customs catches it then they’ll bust you for trafficking illegal parts. It’s not a fish I want to fry. I wouldn’t go there 🚫
@@CalebDowning I'm talking about after filing for form 1.
They shouldn't be able to stop form 1s for parts out of their jurisdiction.
Hopefully some of these new court battles about ATF rule making put a end to that too.
I have never considered something like this for Concealed Carry… wouldn’t this make the ATF likely to be involved if you had to use it in a defensive situation?
I hear that… But a legally acquired suppressor used in a legally justified situation shouldn’t result in any negative action(not to say that it couldn’t but I wouldn’t worry about it)
Simple, no.
man... i just bough the JK Versa X.. Might need this one too...
It’s a pretty impressive can for it’s size and role 👌
Sell me your 92 threaded barrel. I can't find that sob anywhere 😢.
Really, the world is short on 92 threaded barrels right now?
Man, I totally get your frustration. It took me a long time to track one down. SilencerCo won’t restock their and everyone else just seems to be permanently out of stock.
I happened to see this one on stock from an ArmsUnlimited email blast. I should have bought two 😏
Almost as good as a odessa 9😅
Haha, almost 😁 But at about half the size and weight I wouldn’t expect it to sound the same 😉
I have an Odessa 9 and love it. Just too big for everyday. I'm getting this next. @@CalebDowning
@keithcuret2279 It’s a very unique and specific can, but I like it for what it’s intended to do 👌
Slow down.
Sorry, I get rolling sometimes and can’t stop ✋
