In my opinion
A can like this is a must have for night stand duty.
God forbid you ever had to protect yourself or family.
The blinding flash will be cut down or eliminated.
The deafening boom will be dissipated,
You're hearing and vision are two tools that you definitely want in a self-defense encounter.
In my opinion, every gun deserves its own can, it should come from the factory suppressed. Every gun I buy from now on, I'll save to buy a suppressor with it.

So I have to factor that into the price.
The next two I'm thinking about getting is a new FN high Power ok HK elite.
But not having a threaded barrel is such a damn turn off now

Why not carried concealed with single baffle? Seems like a good idea so you keep your senses if you need to fire defensively.

The single baffle with jelly is the ticket. I’m still having a hard time coming to terms with how well it worked with such a simple baffle design and barely any volume. It’ll be enough to remove concussion from your face and ears if you ever need to use it.

I watched this review a few times when you first released it. Put this can on my list of cans to review at Suppressed Fest 2022. I shot it on 2 different guns & thought that was neat. Came back a few hours later, shot it again and walked straight to Capital Armory's booth and bought one of these and their JK VersaX 30 cal can. Now the long wait begins.

This looks like the perfect size suppressor to mount on a Beretta Tomcat Covert 32 ACP pistol.

FWIW, the Odessa also sounds surprisingly decent with 1 baffle when using a direct thread mount (no booster assembly) and is light enough to facilitate function on every tilting barrel I’ve tried.

I just went to finish my eform stuff and got to see mine for the first time. My heart sank when I saw it because I thought I accidentally bought a 22lr can. Looked at the bore and realized it wasnt, but was still very confused. I left after finishing that and searched videos, found this, and am so excited to get this one now. Insane how small that can is!

I run my CCX on a p365 and a Henry .357. Works great on both!

We are getting to a point where suppressors are so small and light yet so effective that the next evolution of a police duty weapon might in fact not be a 2011 race gun or have a compensator, but a super tiny suppressor.

I bought this to use with my P320 X Compact as my night stand pistol. I could not get a reliable operation with that host. I tried factory and hand loads. 9mm NATO which is hotter than 9mm Luger would cycle. But that’s an almost supersonic round. Ended up ordering a DPM recoil spring kit. I’ll know tomorrow if it works…wondering if anyone else has had these issues. Adam didn’t make mention of any mods to his hosts. I find that interesting. I’d like to get some info on the ammo used in this video.

Which one would you recommend between the JK CCX 105 and the Gemtech Aurora 2. Can’t decide between the two. Don’t mind the wipes. Looking for smallest in size and quietest between the two only.

Exactly my thoughts. I just picked up a Tomcat Covert this weekend. It was an impulse buy and the $150 rebate Beretta was a plus. Cost me $250 when you factor in the rebate. Now I want this can to go with it along with my other 9mm and 380 pistols.

This was the first I saw or read that said it had to be wet. Everything else mentions nothing about it, nor do the JK videos showcasing it.
It’s actually designed to be ran wet or dry. Wet will just lower the dB’s. Petroleum jelly works great.
I see SiCo Osprey in the back. Will it function upside down or not recommended? For Raider 365, for example.

Does anyone know if it safe to shoot solid monolithic non expanding self defense ammo through a wet suppressor? Like underwood xtreme defender, norma nxd, arx, or black hills honey badger.
As long as it’s non expanding you’ll be good.
bullet never contacts the wet medium (in this vid, he literally just dribbled a tiny amount (3-5cc) of water into the blast chamber), so it doesn't really matter. Wipes are a different story, really shouldn't use HP's with those.
How well could a can like this suppress a 22?

I believe they say it can be shot dry or wet, but recommend it being wet.

I wish my Versax 105 had enough suppression without using grease. With the 4 included baffles, the sound mitigation is not enough. I don't understand why JK would release a product that is clearly too loud for suppression of SUBSONIC 22LR.

I have an odd suggestion, next time you don't have Vaseline to use try shooting a "wet" can with wheel bearing grease that you use on your car. It's heat resistant. I doubt it is any more toxic that Vaseline. It might even help you can stay cooler to the touch.
Down range footage is cool, but behind the shooter would also be an appealing addition. Obviously, there's only so much time and only so much ammo. Just a suggestion from a viewer. Thanks for all you've done foe the community, and all you continue to do.

Late comment. Im a very utilitarian person. Dont own a can yet but im not looking for a range toy or a combat can for my AR. Im looking for a can that i can use on my scorpion evo that will fit in a backpack or something and keep thing hearing safe for 20-30 round strings of fire. Is this worth the 600 doubloons it would cost to get this? Its very affordable by the looks of things and seems reliable/quality as well. Any other can yoid reccomend over this?

From a safety standpoint I'm no professional but I'm pretty sure a trunk could ram throw that wall and take whatever's inside
My safe is bolted down, the house has a monitored alarm, cameras, and the neighborhood is gated and I'm surrounded by retired (and armed) gentlemen on either side. It would be MUCH easier to rob a bank than to try and hit my house and get killed in the process.
I would never carry a pistol with a direct thread adapter. It would have to have a quick change.
put it on, leave it on (other than cleaning). You don't take the muffler off your car when you park it, do you? The only time Direct thread is an issue is when you are constantly threading the connection on and off (thinning/galling the threads over time, even though you should use grease on threads, most don't), and then you have a major mental malfunction and cross thread the thing.
