Does anyone experience a little bit of inconsistency with the follow focus motor? Like a slight jitter? DJI QC is garbage and their window of return (15 days) is very short. Trying to see if I'm the only person who got shafted.
I am unable to enter into 360 or portrait modes when i follow shortcuts or manually go into that mode.. what could be going wrong.

Question from a newbie: Is there a way to attach this gimbal or any other type of gimbal to a chest or shoulder harness so I could walk with it for a long time and not have to hold it just with my arms ? Thank you very much.
You could attach a tripod mount to the bottom instead of the 3 leg stand so that you can set it down for brief periods of time and pick it up as you wish.
It turns out that when you switch BT off the app loses the customised settings. So how do you use raveneye (which requires you to switch BT off) and maintain your settings?! Any help appreciated
I'm waiting for my RS2 to arrive so I'm no expert - but I've been watching a TON of RS2 CZcams videos to get ready, and I think I've heard of a solution to your problem. If I recall correctly, you can go into your app settings on the iPhone and turn off Bluetooth to the Raveneye only, leaving Bluetooth connections to the rest of the RS2 intact. This I believe is done in the DJI app and not the actual iPhone settings. I would check both places to be sure, but this is to the best of my recollection. Good luck!!

You can use raven eye wirelessly connected to your phone and the gimbal will copy your movements from your phone.
WARNING in 360 - the gimbal can easily hit the phone grip (a phone in it is a gonna). You cant see if your camera is recording in briefcase mode, you actually struggle to see the screen too due to the handle (totally blind in some 360) a few other niggles I am trying to find workarounds.

unfortunately RS 2 is not working with Canon C 70. DJI confirmed the issues (C 70 freezes and Battery of C 70 has to be pulled out) when using the DJI Camera USB connection cable. Since 6 months DJI is not able to release a substitute.
18 month after initial release - still no compatibility with Canon C 70 !
Does anyone knows how to RS2 do not fold when power off with the camera attached?

If it folds after turning the gimbal off, it means your balancing is not proper. It should remain straight. Also, you can use the locks on all axis to prevent movement but sounds like your balancing is the main issue.
I have two RS2 units, both show Error 1009 upon doing a Gimbal Self Check, after a successful Calibration and Balance (Excellent on all three axes). It does not always fail, but fails enough for me to not count on it working correctly. I've sent them both the DJI for 'repair' and they replaced them both after finding the faults. Now both of the replacement units yield the same Error 1009. I'm mystified that four of four fail for me and I do not see that others are having the same issues. Any recommendations? Thanks
Hi there, we are sorry for the issue you encountered. Please ensure that the camera load has already been mounted properly and the gimbal has been balanced. Please also make sure that the gimbal Auto Check does not have interference, note to check if all axis locks are unlocked. You mentioned that this issue not always occurs, could you please tell us under what kind of situation the error will appear?
@@DJITutorials Thanks, I've made sure of all those things over and over (I even said that I did above, why does DJI continue to tell me to do things that I've already reported completed?). I've tried to determine the conditions that it fails, I've seen noting concrete. It may fail more once its been on for a few minutes. I recorded a video and sent it to DJI, showing that I'm doing everything properly. Clueless here. I am testing your product for past week.
#1 Raven eye has issue. If you using with EOS R you can't use cameras menu or play option in camera screen. It only opens in tiny little screen or your phone if connected. Tested with different EOS R CAMERAS.
#2 Phone holder keep getting smashed with gimbal swing arm (bad bad design)
#3 if you have heavy set up you can't adjust anything unless you compete take the weight away.
#4 your arca is different from standard arca they simply don't fit.
#5 if you're camera holding plate is backed all the way back you can't attache lens support, it gets blocked. Very bed design needs a spacer.
Totally agree with your comments. The phone holder is crazy bad design. i think there is a general issue with the lens support. How do you tell if your camera is recording in brief case mode !! etc etc
install the briefcase handle and mount the phone holder on that not to the nato connector near the screen of the RS2. I mount mine in the middle of the briefcase handle after removing the nato rail clamp from the included phone holder. It's a good mounting position for almost every scenario. I installed the Zhiyun Official Weebill S quick connectors on the bottom and briefcase handle to make it easy to switch mounting of the included tripod base/handle.

Hi there, you may try the instructions below:
1. Items you need to prepare:
The focus wheel, DJI Pro Wireless Receiver, and Ronin-MX CAN Cable for Ronin-MX/S, Master Wheels/Ronin 2 remote controller.
2. Steps:
1) Mount the focus wheel to the 8-pin port on the side of the DJI RS 2 gimbal. Ensure that the focus wheel’s CAN/S-BUS switch has been switched to the CAN mode.
2) Connect the DJI Pro Wireless Receiver to the focus wheel’s CAN port using the Ronon-MX CAN Cable for Ronin-MX/S, and change the DJI Pro Wireless Receiver’s CAN/S-BUS switch to the CAN mode. If the modes have not been properly adjusted, the control will fail (For example, if the DJI Pro Wireless Receiver’s mode is switched to S-BUS, the wireless receiver indicator will blink green, but cannot take control).
3) Ensure that the frequency band of the DJI Master Wheels is the same as that of the DJI Pro Wireless Receiver. Start linking on the DJI Master Wheels/Ronin 2 remote controller. Press and hold the Link button on the DJI Pro Wireless Receiver for 2 seconds to start linking. Wait until linking is complete.
(1) DJI Master Wheels/Force Pro linking options: Gimbal - Setting - General - Bind Remote.
(2) Ronin 2 remote controller linking: Press C1, C2, and the Record Button simultaneously on the remote controller until you hear a continuous beep to start linking.
4) If linking fails, try to switch to another frequency band. For example, if the linking fails in 2.4 GHz frequency band, please switch “Remote Freq” of the DJI Pro Wireless Receiver and DJI Master Wheels to 5.8 GHz. Try linking again.

@@bl780grand I know. Just a little joke. But on the other hand, the osmo itself was sh*t and honestly right now i don’t really see a need for something like that, i would more like to see something like the Ronin Mx again so you easily can make your DSLM airborn
@@jakoblichtenfeld the Ronin doesn’t really fit my needs as an amateur videographer who films for fun and for occasional projects. I liked the Osmo Pro because it was super easy to setup and use, and because the image quality was cinematic and easily adjustable.
