The contact last week on Drinkwater going for the 2 point field goal to tie the game was worse and it wasnt even a penalty.
It's due to drinkwater not selling it.

Luke Keary makes a charge down and clearly makes contact with the foot of the warrior and roosters score a try from it. If they are saying "contact is contact" then how was this not even reviewed or a talking point? So you can make contact with the leg so long as you make the charge down? Right...

It was 12-12 heading into half time, itâs not like they gained a huge advantage from it exactly, Melbourne scored off a dud call aswell when the ref said Kayal Iro played at the ball because âhe placed himself underneath the ballâ which is like a rule made up on the spot, Melbourne still had better weight of possession, double the penalty count, more set restarts and still couldnât crack the Sharks resilient defence, Sharks were just hungrier and Atkinson to step up and take control as a rookie did a phenomenal job.

If Cronulla played anyone else that night outside the top 4 sides they would've won by 20 or 30. They just scraped by against the storm who were dudded and missing players let alone one of their gun players for a joke sin bin.
Everyoneâs been having a go at the Sharks for not beating a top 4 or top 8 heavyweight team, yet they just did and everyoneâs still crying foul, that one decision didnât cost Melbourne the game overall, the Sharks were more resilient and were hungry for this win, they got it and people are still having a whinge.

Billy was almost right, but its not the NRL's fault that, when faced with a rule change around player safety, the players choose to do the next most destructive option. And in this case a worst action than just tackling the bloke.
Harry was made an example of and that was unlucky for him, but his 10 mins in the bin will hopefully set the standard and save the next one where someone's season gets ended with a broken leg.
Grant meant it ,being Melbourne storm ,he will always get away with it .
And the next time Kikau hits a leg Freddy will defend him saying its too harsh.

The onus is always on the defender, it's this way in basically every facet of the game. Saying the kicker is making a dangerous kick is ridiculous. This is clearly a penalty and clearly not a sin-bin.
I hadnât seen the Ilias or Snyder broken legs⊠they were ugly. I also thought grant knew what was going to happen.
Each year, they bring in new rules that make no sense so they can control the outcomes of the game.

Everyone that complains I reckon yous never played contact sport go watch golf or tennis! Itâs a contact sport itâs meant to be the toughest game in the world but now we showing America how tough our game is when itâs actually not showing all these big hits and fight when you actually canât even do it anymore and now you actually really canât put pressure on the kicker just a stupid game itâs becoming Iâll give it 5 years it this game will be begging fans to come back
Rules are Rules. Players now have to take advantage. Soft high shot ? Milk it as ifs the worse ,player willl be sin bin or sent of. Player carring the ball should make sure they aim there heads for the tacklers shoulder again milk it get the player sin bin or sent off. Kicking the ball ? Wait leave kicking leg up as long as possibe , feel a touch throw themselves to the ground. Sin bin and pen. If a player goes low try and fall backwards over him. Make it a hip drop tackle means sin bin or sent of for the player. Its how the game od RL is going

Funny game. Billy outcoached Freddie in State of Origin when Freddie obviously seems more intelligent and articulate. He's obviously a smarter individual but maybe not a better coach. Maybe that's why the Blues lost, because Freddie has more duty of care to the players, and places their welfare above winning. He seems to have a greater understanding of the changes in the game in a much more latigious environment. But, yes, the sin binning was a joke.
The kicker needs to stand further back. The game is ruined by all the stupid decisions.
