The FWD was so under rated. Great cars.
My grandpa bought this same car in 1992 except it was triple black with gold emblems. Took it to senior prom, my favorite Cadillac of all time
This was one of the best Cadillacs to come out of General Motors. The 4.9 was a tank - similar to the durability of Fords 4.6. And they’re still one of my favorite Cadillacs (91-93 DeVille).
4.9 best motor they ever used.
94 Deville is the last of the 4.9 Cadillac switch to Northstar in 95
@@oliverlacey3765 The 91-93 Deville’s were my favorite - ultimately because of the body style and 4.9 motor. GM didn’t drop the 4.9 completely until the 1996 model year. You could still get the 4.9 in 95’ on the base model DeVille. Northstar was only an option for the Concourse trim.
The fuel injector issues make it not even close to the ford 4.6 2v
Oh baby! I am a early 90s FWD freak and that thing is amazing
I am very familiar with these front drive Devilles. My parents bought 1991 dark Sapphire Blue sedan deville new. I agree they were very comfortable and very peppy. you could drive one all day and not experience much fatigue. I have very fond memories of these caddies. Thank you for sharing this car.
I just inherited a 90 Coupeville from my dad. Haven't even driven it yet. White with bugundy leather interior. Beautiful car. Cannot wait to take it on a road trip. 65k miles. Thx Dad
Beautiful automobile
That's a great car for a person who don't want a big Cadillac. I love the big Cadillacs. That would make a nice anniversary gift for someone who doesn't mind a small Cadillac... I remember when you got that one.
So many of the FWD 2 doors had a visible wrinkle in the sheet metal just below the C pillar. I did not see it in this one. This is a great deal on this car. It's gorgeous. If the Northstar in my Eldorado would have blown a head gasket by now I'd be wanting this car!
That's where they filled it with lead from the factory. With age that lead shrinks and you will get wrinkles and even cracks.
So gorgeous. I used to clean one when I was a kid for an older vet, Mr Lynch. He had the burg interior and it was a 4 door but wow Ant! I got too many cars but I want her
Never seen one this clean, ever
The Delco Bose Gold Series was the top of the line sound system in FWD Cadillacs and the Corvette with the standard cassette optional CD. The 4.9 V8 Port Fuel Injection was a solid engine.
i remember seeing these along with the 93-96 fleetwoods all over the roads in my early childhood but it seems that one day they all disappeared or something
Had one of these except with the blue dash, carpet, trim, etc. He's right, the torque on this car was great. Really gave you a sense of having more power than you actually did, but it supplied an impressive feel when you needed it. Regretted selling it the minute the buyer pulled out of my driveway! Of course mine had way more than 30k miles when I sold it. Replaced it with a new Lincoln Town Car. I was on the road quite a bit then & wanted something w/4 doors and RWD again. Like so many of my former cars, wish I could've just kept them all & would have my own auto museum today!!! 🚗🚘🚙🛻🏎😀
Absolutely stunning automobile. You've done an outstanding job, as always.
Anthony and Papa Bear…the Coupe De Ville looks beautiful. Wonderful narration on the car itself. The new owner is going to get a gem.👍
Thank you John. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
"...just give 'em a backhand". I love it!! Another beauty, Anthony, and once again you have bent over backwards to fix what needed fixing to bring it up to your standards. And they buyer benefits from that by getting a car they can drive with confidence. I think your price is more than reasonable and the car will sell quickly. Best wishes to you and Papa Bear.
Ok dude, chill. Are you related?
Absolutely Stunning Coupe Deville Spring Edition!!!! Love it!!!
Love these. This and the ultra rare 1990-92 Fleetwood Coupe
Man I had a 1990 Coupe Deville. White with red velour interior, my dad bought it from an older lady, it only had 49k miles on it,, this was 2004. I put chrome disc and vogues on it. That’s truly all it needed to set it off. That’s a beautiful car. Keep up the great work Ant.
I had a 91 Fleetwood Deville. Loved that car but still wanted a RWD Brougham maybe one day I’ll get one lol
I had a 90 Fleetwood Rwd
But this caddy is a beauty
I saw this car in a cream yellow in the 90's
How much Anthony
Did you hear what was replaced on this car? That’s one thing about Anthony. He will replace anything that he feels fit. His honesty really shines, so when the car is finally delivered to your home, there won’t be anything that you will need to be concerned with. Just drive and enjoy!!!
Thank you Pal but your right, no second guessing here REPLACE IT. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
I had a white 89 box deville and it was one of the greatest cars I’ve ever owned. I would certainly drive it again if I still had it.
Hey Anthony & Papa Bear, this Spring Edition Coupe de Ville is very nice. Love the gold ornamentation!! These smaller Cadillacs with front wheel drive are really nice & this low mileage beauty has tons of life left in it & will make it's new owner very happy!!! Thanks for sharing this fun video!!! 👍👍🙂
Hello Christopher yes the gold and white together look so beautiful. You will see more of in the white broughams coming up in the near future. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
@@paulgozzo9178 Thanks, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing that, you can never get enough white Broughams!!! 😁
Delco Bose system was a rare option above the Symphony Sound standard radio
Another fine car designed by Wayne Cady and John Manoogian I had 4 one 4100 87 spring edition two tone blue and white interior medium sapphire white top with gold. Had an 89 garnet over academy with the same white cabriolet red leather and a medium blue 91 spring edition triple blue. Also had a pastel beige (pink) velour sedan deville with the acrylic wheel super ho hum. But the spring edition began in 87. The painted door handles started on spring edition only in 1991.
I fell In love with the 93 because I got to Rent one for almost a Month when my 90 GMC Sierra got wrecked & was in the body shop for a month So I picked A 93 Sedan Seville to rent
A well cared for classic car is like a time-machine💙
I had a 93 Sedan I bought from my caddy dealer...I worked in parts department...gorgeous! Same color white but a burgundy interior....same roof, 43,000 miles 4.9B motor, the better motor.. loved my white door handles. Lol Miss it big-time! Rode like a dream! I'd buy yours if it had the burgundy interior 😔....those frt. fenders always Crack a tad.....The owner was rubbing that steering wheel with his or her thumb...
These are tremendously comfortable and wonderful cars. The FWD Cadillacs deserve more love. The 4.5V8 and 4.9V8 are great engines. Powerful, reliable, and fairly economical for a V8. Upgrade the injectors to Bosch, and see an increase in MPG. My '91 Fleetwood coupe has the same AC Delco Bose speakers. I absolutely love my '90 Brougham d' Elegance 5.7V8, but I also love my cozy baby FWD Fleetwood! I drove a '93 Sedan Deville for 8 years, and it was reliable and comfortable! The FWD Fleetwood and Sedan Deville, are basically the same car, with the Fleetwood getting upgraded interior and skirts.
You get my attention when you rave about the front seat comfort of these cars Anthony! Gotta love a luxury coupe like this one. Nice presentation despite your reduced product knowledge compared to rwd cars. Remember these on the showroom at Frost Cadillac in Newton, Ma. Hi to Papa Bear.
Hello Clinton how are you? Papa 🐻
Enjoying my 2010 DTS Premium Collection. Just turned 15k miles. Not quite as nice as yours, so I am daily driving it. Stay well, Clint
@@clintonsager2233nice to hear that but with only 15k I'm sure it is just as nice as mine. 13k here I enjoy mine also. Papa 🐻
This one is really beautiful. Very classic looking.
Maybe the window lock is more for the sedan's rear windows and instead of removing it they kept it for the coupe so there wouldn't be another blank on the dash.
Love those wheels, along with the traditional and elegant taillights!!
Gorgeous!!
Now this is a proper Cadillac!
Beautiful car Anthony. I had a 99 Sedan De Ville all sliver grey, top of the line and kept it for 20 years, Made just under 300K miles! But finally gave up the ghost. Love FWD, IMHO way safer than rear wheel drive. As always you have done a great job of getting it in shape. Whomever buys this will be lucky!
I had an ‘88 coupe deville with a 4.5….loved that car
🇺🇸 *Beautiful Coupe de Ville* !! *Very mint Cadillac* !! *LOVE this color combo* !! *Low-mileage example of the Spring Edition* !! *Thanks Papa Bear and Anthony* !! #SpecialtyMotorCars 🇺🇸
Glad you enjoy gold and white so beautiful. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
Love this and still love the last '92 Coupe Deville I bought from you. They are great cars and feel so peppy compared to my 91 Broughams.
This car has the alarm system as evident by the flashing 'security' light when you open the door. Under the window lock switch in that blank area was an optional switch for the heated windshield (very rare option mostly Canadian market) it required the car have a huge Amp alternator and still caused a lot of power drain problems. The oil and trans seals notoriously leaked like Niagra falls. From 91-93 the 4.9L v8 put out 200hp. In 94 they started with those horrible Northstar engines. These cars had some of the most comfortable seats ever made. They also had the air bladder struts in the rear to level the car when you had shit in the trunk. The keyless unlocking fobs were the hottest feature at the time. Something else that always went was the parking brake auto release when you put the car in gear, crappy design. The Cads and the Buick Park Ave had them in 1990. Turn the key to power but don't start the car, then hold the OFF and WARMER buttons together on the climate control and watch what happens (tick to see stored OBD codes). The cars were kinda stigmatized for being FWD but keep in mind they were marketed toward little old ladies and grandparents in those days who hated driving in the snow.
My father had a 93 pomegranate red spring edition with that monster 4.9l engine. I regret selling it and it pains me to know I was so immature not to keep this beauty. Such a fun car and it MOVES.
Gorgeous Coupe Deville! Love all of your cars! Thanks for sharing with us
Anthony, i have a high mileage 93 triple black spring edition sedan deville, two owner, daily driver. You know these cars, and the spring edition package, very well. Analysis of the failure points on these cars is spot on. 4.9 motors are bullit proof and the spring editions are just a bit nicer than regular models. Unfortunately, fwd cars just arent as desirable as rwd but can be just as nice. You must have got it pretty cheap because youve put a lot of work into this one and i think you could price it a little higher. This is a beautiful example and being a coupe certainly makes it a little more special. I hope to purchase a black 92 d'elegance from you someday! Cheers!
That car is over the top fabulous!
These Cadillac's back in that era displayed charm and sophistication. Good memories.
Fabulous coupe. These sized Cadillacs were so nimble in city traffic and great on the highway.
My dad had a 91 Seville, silver with black top- surprisingly nice little Cadillac- especially with the 4.9L. Baby Cad, they grow on you! This one is so nice!
I can never steer away from the analog dash. So classic!
Looks Beautiful Anthony, of course you made it even better.
Tony, if that car was a 4 door, I would be all over it like horse flies on 💩. Those seats make you go to Nite Nite. I had a 1990 deville black on black with the rag top. I purchased that car for $1500 in Newark, NJ, in 2006 and drove it back to Alabama. All that car needed was a tune-up. This car that you have here is a beauty.
Love the Coupe DeVille. Just bought a 2017 Escalade and wishing I could afford to buy this 1991 Coupe DeVille. As always great job finding these very rare Cadillacs.
Thanks.
Rob D.
What a beauty
Another beautiful collectible car from Anthony and Papa Bear. This Caddy has the Wow Factor. Great price for a car that has been Anthonyized.
Thank you George. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
I was going to buy a 92 Coupe Deville red with white top back in 2016. It was beautiful but needed a battery and a tune up. I chose a 96 Mark VIII LSC instead which was Toreador Red with black leather
I would have loved to owned this outstanding original condition Triple White Cadillac 2dr Coupe, but I want to stay married. Such a gorgeous looking ride this is.
I had a similar original condition 1992 Seville that I should have never sold. It had 105k miles and still rode like new with that 4.9 engine and looked like showroom condition.I’m a shamed to let you know how cheap I sold it for, but only that I did sell it against my will. Just want to thank you Anthony for locating this drop dead Caddy and giving it the care you do with all your cars. I know this Coupe is going to sell quickly at your very reasonable price. Best of luck to the fortunate new buyer who knows a great deal when he sees one. Anthony…I love your business and appreciate your CZcams channel. Keep up the great work!
Beautiful coupe gotta love the classics
You have a talent for finding pristine cars. But here in Derbyshire a pristine Vauxhall Victor 1974 has been discovered and donated to a museum.
Before being stored away, the brightwork had been removed, covered in oil and bagged up and the interior was covered in polythene - all of which served to keep the vehicle in excellent condition over the years. The vehicle was finally unearthed following Mr Milner’s death when it was donated to the Ambergate motoring museum.
Vauxhall was owned by GM.
People seem to be unaware that these downsized cars from the 90s are not small cars. They are bigger than nearly anything being made today.
The cars made today have no clue of what a fine automobile is!!
@@richards.meekins5576 That's pretty much the size of it!
I owned this identical car in 1997 and I adored it !!! I brought my twins home from the hospital when they were born in 1999! I loaned it to my wife's friend and she wrecked it ! LAST TIME I lend my Cadillac to anyone !!!!
Absolutely Stunning and Worth Every Penny.
" Another Gem " !! Thanks for the Memories... 👋👋👌👍😃
First of your videos I've seen. Very impressed with car and price!
Amazing transformation since you got it. Nice automobile for 14 Large.
I have a white 91 coupe deville, but without the fake convertible top, had eighty thousand miles, bout ninetytwo thou now, love my caddy, not as Nice as yours, but back when it had the same milage probably was. Good Road tripper, been from south of Miami to almost to so Dakota in Western Minnesota twice, good millage bout twenty one mpg seventy five miles per All Day.👍
I have one now with burgundy inside 150,000 miles drives like a charm but has been given me problems not going to give up on it
Gorgeous..I dated an older woman in 92 she had a twin to it but with a digital speedo and dimmer mirror.😍
It's lovely. Kind of a rolling red velvet cake.
Anthony I dumped my 89 Fleetwood because I wanted my garage back. Why are you temting me?LOL.I love this beauty .Thanks.
the FWD buicks and cadillacs and others that were of the "Downsized" era were certaintly frowned upon. but some had their uniqueness and this devilel was definately an example of that.
Stunning car Tone
Love your channel, this fall I sold my 65 Mustang, wanted to get 64 ford Galaxy but I found a cherry 2003 Lincoln town car, it's my new garage queen she's like new
This rendition was considerably smaller but the lines are proportional and makes for a smart looking coupe.😊
Beautiful Spring co-op Anthony
Absolutely beautiful example. As usual.
Very clean car, especially for a FWD
Had this same car and had 100 spokes and vogue tires on it . Nice car to cruise I
The normal 4.9 is better than the North Star engine. I worked at Casa De Cadillac in Sherman Oaks Ca. (Kind of well known because the owner has rented it out for movies and videos like Free Fallin) and I never even saw one of those in our shop. We did have a guy in our shop who sold the gold package option that your car has. I was installing car phones back then in cars.
Also famous from the 70’s Let’s make a deal
On a spring edition, the gold package was from the factory. One of the things that sets this car apart.
I ad a 91 coupe de ville got it new in 92 give that one to my son I need another one mine was red all around but I like the white good video thanks
I never really had an interest in Cadillac when the fwd models came out in 1985, especially with the HT4100 engine. But this one is absolutely beautiful!!
I love this one and would love to have one like it - next year.
Beautiful!!!!
Love that car Anthony!! Great video as always. Hello Paul 🐻
Hello Joey. Papa 🐻
I like this car. You should see my white 89 Seville-34,000 miles. I agree the white leather starts to crack.
last generation of 2 door. cadillac had a 2door deville and fleetwood.
Gorgeous Caddy!
That car is in excellent condition, and if I had the money I would buy it for sure.
Nothing but beautiful and I mean beautiful I love love it
Absolutely gorgeous. I would love to have it.
Love Love Love this Car!! Sadly I am in Australia and can not have one :( I am 37 however sick of the cars of today, with all there aggressive looks, back braking suspension, HP, etc etc.
I owned a triple black one. It was a beautiful car. It had everything including the digital dash.!
I hit a big old buck deer went through the passenger windshield, spun it around and hit the rear quarter of the car pretty much totaled it out! I should’ve kept it and restored it! PS it also had the opera light on the outside of the vinyl top also ! It only had 47,000 miles on it when that happened. It was like noon until then really upset me when it happened!
PS the only problem with these front wheel drive early cars was the transmission was famous for going bad! The one I had had to transmissions replaced before, and finally never had a problem! The transmission repair company told me it was a major problem with these. After, I found this out whenever I looked at one of these types of cars. They always had a rebuilt sticker on the transmission. Which is what you want to look for because most likely that transmission won’t go out. If it don’t have it, it most likely will!
Nice, very rare. Coupes were only made around a few thousand by then. Looks like it was always garages.
Before GM decided coupes where the kiss of death to Cadillac. Beautiful examples of automobile luxury were on our road's. Spring edition with the gold package, this would look so nice in my driveway.
I loved this car with the electric gauge cluster
Clean AF 🔥🔥
I am working and saving. I will be a buyer 1 day soon.
Contrary to what many people think, the front-drive Caddy's were not bad cars. And the thinking at the time was that rear wheel drive V8 vehicles were about to disappear. This car helped bridge the gap between the luxo tankers of the Seventies and the modern "Art and Science" Cadillacs.
I saw a glimpse of the oem speaker covers in the back deck as well. I would buy this from you tomorrow but I just don’t have the space.
That is a real beauty!
Anthony and Poppa 🐻 another great Caddy
Nice car as always, although you're drifting into Curious Car's category with the 39 minute video. Lol
Beautiful car❤❤❤❤
Beautiful
