OKC messed up with trading Lively to Dallas. Should've kept him. Lively & Chet would've been a good 1 - 2 Combo in the Paint as Bigs. Lively about to help the Mavericks win a Championship this season. The 1 position the Thunder needs depth for and they trade it away for a horrible contract. 😂Would have been exciting watching Lively and Chet shutting down the paint together and knocking down 3s would have been unstoppable and if 1 goes down with injury you have traditional lineup and slide 1 of your many 4s.
The Thunder didn't have the opportunity to get Lively. He was going to Dallas whether they traded the pick or not. If OKC didn't trade their 12th pick for Dallas's 10 pick, Dallas would have drafted Lively with the 10th pick. EDITED: stuff about the 24th pick.
