Long story short, I'm an big MFFL (iykyk), and I've basically learned most of everything regarding video editing just within these past couple days but I think this piece came out beautifully despite not being perfect. Not only because I'm a big fan of the Mavs and Lively do I hope he sees this some day especially with the playoffs around the corner but also because it's also a dedicated tribute to his family and mother who passed from this world recently. My most sincere condolences to Mr. Lively. WE LOVE YOU LIVELY and GO MAVS!

Thank you so much for this. D-Live seems like a great kid, and he is a wonderful player. Remember before the season; we all thought he was our Five of the future, but we didn’t even know if he would play this year. He’s been a big reason for the Mav’s success.
That is true. And people misunderstand why we brought Gafford in. It didn't undermine his talent at all, we just simply needed a more thorough rotation for when Lively wasnt playing. And now we arguably have one of the better center rotations in the league. With both being at such a young age too! Lively is still just as pivotal to the future of the Mavericks even with Gafford as the starter

An old school big man type.. very efficient inside the paint.. knows how to operate underneath the basket.. very good at positioning.. i love how he plays the game.. this kid is very good for me
Call me old school but I think teams and GMs have really dismissed the impact that an old school defensive big could have on a roster as opposed to these wacky hybrid offensive freaks at the 5 position in this guard-and shooting-inflated era of basketball. People forget that the priority for any true big is to protect the rim, grab boards, and be the last line of defense when no one else is able to play as physical. We are seeing that now with Lively II. AND he just broke a NBA HISTORIC RECORD for highest +/- in a playoff series by a rookie at +71 vs OKC. And now he's at +87 in TOTAL in the postseason and +19 in his first game against one of the most historically greatest defenses against Minnesota in Game 1. AND HE'S JUST A ROOKIE AT 20 YEARS OLD! He can't even drink alcohol 😂
In other words, no OTHER word describes him better than...IMPACT
If I make another video soon, it's because of you because people need to actually understand how good this kid is and not just look at the box score stats.

What’s crazy is that lively was what the thunder needed against Dallas these playoffs. Chet wasn’t enough. They asked Holmes to play offense, defense, and get rebounds for a whole series 😅
