The lore behind their relationship is that his character was in a position of power in hell and she was locked in a box of isolation after causing an uprising in heaven. While trying to take over purgatory, he accidentally unlocks her with his own power, causing her to absorb his power and making him subserviant to her (aka demon butler). I’m sure someone who knows the lore more precisely will um, actually me, but that’s the basic gist of it

Pretty much. The second part is that after Mouse did the final step of uniting hell (after he did most of it) and was given all the credit, she eventually gave him his power back and left to go to Earth because Hell was boring, and despite having everything he thought he wanted, he eventually left hell to follow her (and occasionally try and get her to come back and do her job).

In her interview with the Immune Deficiency Foundation, Ironmouse actually says she was an opera singer before her condition made more of a difference in her daily life, so it really make sense her vocals really hit the mark.
One of the reasons Mouse uses a lot of vibrato is because she has diminished lung capacity, and it lets her hold some of the notes longer with smaller available breaths.
Connor (Cdawg) has actually sung a bit previously. Putting aside the times he purposely sang bad, Mouse had him sing "Fly Me to the Moon" before and it was actually quite good.
He's done Karaoke on his streams before! Fly me to the moon is his go-to when he does finally sing, but he and his friends did several during the road trip.
I'm always shocked by Ironmouse. Her health has greatly affected her singing voice. Even to this day, she claims she's still not at 100%. All of these songs, covers, opera, up to this point is done with a voice not yet at it's peak. Imagine how unstoppable she'd be if she was in perfect health. She's insanely talented to be able to do what she's doing given her circumstances. One of the best singers that the internet has gracefully introduced us to. Can't wait to see how high she can climb once her condition improves.
It really took me this long to catch the bar "see the dawgs VA" line. Initially I was like; "Oh, hes just saying CdawgVA." Forgetting(putting aside) that VA stands for Voice Actor, but in this context, it's Voice Acting. Then following up with "how they act out," Lol.

you should check out Calliope Mori. she does a lot of rap, and theyr'e pretty good. Nerissa Ravencroft, another member of Hololive (same agency as Calliope Mori), also has an amazing voice, I reccomend her cover of Aishite.
love mouse and if you want to dive down the rabbit hole of Vtuber music there is tons of original songs i have a playlist of over 100 of my favorites and that only scratches the surface a good point to start is Mori Calliope UnAlive is one of my faves from her, Just a heads up she is signed to universal music and the corporate agency Hololive so they are a little more strict with the copyright stuff

6 months later: He did jump into the vtuber stuff. Something else that is on the livestreaming side, could be cool if you checked out some of The8bitdrummer stuff like.. idk, marble machine, that'll give you Wintergatan as well.
