The transition from beautiful operatic voice to absolute gremlin laughter is honestly more amazing to me.

It's a bit of a Almight situation as far as I understand it, like in Hero Academia.
The fact that she can switch so easily while still keeping up is pretty impressive in addition to just doing it at all.
But it's probably also a bit of coping with the situation that she still can't do it as properly as she wants.
It's not that viewer could really notice and more a personal thing. Pretty common (as in: I don't know a single person who isn't sleeping on the top of mount stupid who is unaffected by this branch of impostor syndrome) and fits with her displayed personality.
Yeh, right? At some point, I thought that it was a whole new person that she would introduce us to, and then "You mother*uckers!" comes out in her "normally" gremlin voice!
That was the most surprising thing to me.

@@dracotheshadowphoenix The wonderful thing about Mouse is she is happy even with her condition. I remember starting to watch her years ago and it's like she is a different person from then. She is much more confident and just... Happy. That is the best way I can describe it. She is just so happy these days. I do wish she could be cured so that she can go and hug her friends in real life, but even with her lot in life she is so happy these days. More so than I will ever be, I think.

I'm absolutely amazed at her range. I can only imagine just how good she really is and I hope that someday we actually get to hear it. (She said she's getting some tests done concerning her current illness, hopefully she will get a proper treatment that can actually help handle whatever it is be it her "Ligma" or whatever), cause I really do want to hear her at her fullest

Opera and just singing in general are huge passions of hers, I'm not surprised that she's working so hard to regain her vocal range.
I haven't heard her sing this low, this well, for a long time. It's nice to hear although she's still running out of breath on occasion.
I hope it's a sign of her recovering, it seems like she's been struggling ever since she had trouble getting her meds, just one thing after another knocking her back.
But she's Ironmouse so she gets back up more times than Batman.

As a dancer (and thus someone who works with lots of talented singers) you'd be amazed with the range good singers actually have. One guy I worked with on 2 different musicals named Charles was cast as the beast in beauty and the beast and max bialystock in the producers. So I saw him with a deep, gruff voice, belting out powerful songs as the beast, then singing much higher and nasally as a washed up Jewish producer.
Just wait for the next 10 years when she literally like literally take over the world with her voice.

Mouse has said before she doesn't roll her "R"s because that's not super common in Puerto Rican Spanish but she's doing it fine in this song, I guess singing and talking voice really are completely different.

You'd be right; singing involves different parts of the brain, so much so that people with stutters can lose them when singing ("Mel Tillis Syndrome").
It may also have to do with the fact that Selena tended to roll her Rs kinda hard, as you may hear if you check the original version of this song~

I just came from a clip of her singing this a while back. Back during the time she had to stop every verse or so..complete with the little "fuck"s. She was singing it so quiet...and here she's just belting it out and going in one burst...god damn I'm so proud of her..

No, she is getting better, I don't remember the name of the song but she has 3 videos of singing the same song and we can clearly see the progression of her treatment, from reading other comments she even started to start walking in her room and when she moves to her new house she will have a window so she can take a bit of sun.

I think her voice was going back but she caught it.
When I saw this is really thought it was an edit or soundboard. I was convinced, like 100% sure it wasnt real. The singing voice just didnt match the voice ive heard in clips.
So i checked the comments and everyone was saying how good she was and how impressive it is considering her illness. So i had to look it up and now im in tears. It sounds so beautiful and knowin it physically hurts her to do it makes it somewhat sad aswell.
