  • You can learn Hypopressives in my Buff Muff App www.vaginacoac...
    Hypopressives is also called Low Pressure Fitness and is an incredible core exercise that has the power to improve or even reverse incontinence and organ prolapse.
    This technique is NOT suitable for those with high blood pressure or who are pregnant.
    It is a method that started in Europe and made its way to North America about 10 years ago.
    It involves a series of poses that are considered low pressure meaning they don't contribute to a rise in intra- abdominal pressure. A rhythmic breathing pattern is added followed by an apnea (a breath hold) after 3 breath cycles.
    After all the air is exhaled after the third breath cycle, the glottis is closed (some need to plug their nose and close their mouth at first) and then you expand the ribs as if you were inhaling but because no air
    is coming in, it creates a pressure change and the result is a vacuum effect.
    There is an upward movement of the belly button which in turn pulls on the urachus ligament which is attached to the bladder. This helps lift the bladder and uterus.
    I reversed a stage 2 uterine prolapse with this technique and have helped hundreds do the same or at least improve their prolapse.
    It is a game changer for prolapse!! It is also helpful for constipation and pelvic pain too!

      Hi Kim. Currently doing your buff Muff challenge. I commented on the site and you mentioned I might benefit I’m doing hypopressives. My question is once you close the epiglottis how do you expand the ribs with no air in the lungs? I’ve been working hard on doing the core breath expanding ribs and abdomen with the inhale. I can’t make the connection as to how to expand with no air. Can you clarify?Thank you.

      @@pattiecampbell7735 get familiar with the movement of the ribs on the inhale...and then replicate that except don't allow the air to come in. It takes some practice. Try doing in laying down on your back with one hand on your belly. Close the glottis and then ask the ribs to expand and feel the belly draw away from the hand. Try plugging your nose and keeping your mouth closed. I have a program where you can learn more in depth www.vaginacoach.com/kegel-mojo-hypopressive

    Dealing with postpartum prolapse right now and wondering if it’s safe to begin these exercises in the immediate weeks after birth? Is it better to wait for full healing from the delivery before beginning a routine like this? Or perhaps beneficial to begin during the healing process?

    I have so many questions. When you say open the ribs is that one big inhale and close mouth no breathing hold it?

    • @vaginacoach
      @vaginacoach  Před 2 lety

      First practice rib expansion (opening the ribs) on each inhale. Then after an inhale with expanding the ribs you then exhale all the air and then open the ribs...expand the ribs while holding the breath.

    You breathe in directly after apnea -when the ribs are out.

      I have rectocele and learn that to heal it you also need to use other forms of terapi as working on scartissues, on trauma, learn to relax and so on
      So hypopressive alone is not really the only solution in theese cases💕
