Maintenance on lawnmowers can extend the life for so many more years, as you know Steve. Great information provided here Buddy!
You got that right! 👍
Good idea to keep these cleaned out. I like the silicone instead of grease idea so the grass doesn't collect on the teeth. The only self-propelled lawn mower I've ever had was a mower that was propelled-by-myself! Never had any new-fangled drives like this. In fact, my property here is so rough and sloped that I use a gas-powered trimmer exclusively all the time and have let my mower go. Keep up the good work, Steve.
Thanks Craig 👍
Spring is close at hand which is my "get ready for Summer" time. You have a good preventative maintenance program Steve.
Hi Wyatt
The year doesn't start for me till May and ends in October, and the rest of the time, the deep south looks better and better every year :) Winter sucks !!!
Great topic for discussion doing the maintenance on the mower drive. So many times it goes neglected till it fails. Thanks and Cheers Steve
Hi Lloyd , the parts are crazy expensive as opposed to low cost servicing.
Good Morning Steve 😇👌👍Maintenance is the VITAL FACTOR and You Have Done An OUTSTANDING INFORMATIVE VIDEO SIR Cheers 👍👍👌👌😇😇🍻🍻
Thanks 👍
Very informative video. I am guilty of not doing enough maintenance to my mower. I have some work ahead of me. Thanks for sharing, Ben
Glad to help Ben 👍
great job Steve. seems so simple but I am guilty of not doing regular maintenance on some equipment myself!
Hi Mike , easy to service but much harder to repair :)
I don’t know much about these push mowers and I sure didn’t know they were four wheel drive. That some good maintenance Steve and it’s garanties to save big repaires down the line......CHEERS
Hi Gator
It sure pays to do some maintenance.
🚧🚧 Yes Sir Preventive Maintenance Is Very Important 😇😇👌👌👍👍Cheers 🍻🍻🚧🚧
Yes indeed Dave 👍
Maybe I should clean mine out!😆 But my wheels are so worn out I might need tire chains😂
Good one Steve✌
HAHA Thanks Marc !!!
Cool. Most mowers only get looked at when it no longer works , then people usually blame the breakage on the mower .
So true Terry 👍
Another excellent video Steve - man, I need to do this clean job for sure as its gears are most definitely needing a clean.
Mower blade spins clock-wise (looking from top view) and might explain why right wheel has more debris…just a hunch lol - thanks buddy, enjoyed that video and cheers
Thanks Ed , yes your correct. I don't cut any wet grass, but I see the ones that do, and there's barely room for the blade to move. HAHAHA
How's she goin'? Good idea to clean out these drive sprocket every spring. They sure can get plugged up with grass clippings. Take care!!
Yes sir , a bit of time now saves a lot of time should it all bind up for not serviceing . Cheers Mike
I bet most people never think about doing this steve, sure well last longer with no stripped teeth
Hi Jason
I think most fix it when it breaks or some service it so it dosen't break . All depends on your wallet size eh :)
I didn't realize they were four wheel drive. I thought only the back wheels drove.
Hi Kenny
Some are fwd or rwd and this one is awd . I like the awd for going up my hill on the frt lawn.
Look at you with your big fancy four wheel drive mower, better check your privilege yo.
I should probably check mine, I bet they're all clogged up. I think this will be it's fourth or fifth summer coming up and I've done no maintenance on it at all
HAHAHA mower privilege 🤣 😂
