This charging handle upgrade, along with the free floating fore end, removes two spots where the barrel is encumbered by a ring shaped mount. One is for the fore end and the other for the stock charging handle, both could affect accuracy. Free floating eliminates outside movement on the barrel itself potentially Improving accuracy. I added a geisselle trigger and pack. Can’t wait to test accuracy.
this video would have saved me 10 minutes last week ...didn't realize the hammerhead could just rotate to the side. overall I'm very happy with my x95 (optimus for-end and switchback charging handle)
I just purchased an X95 and the first part I had to swap out was the OEM charging handle, as I found it to be quite stiff cocking the gun out of the box, much more than my MK18 for example. Is that common with these rifles? I'm hoping this charging handle helps out a bit in that regard.
Hey guys I did a conversion kit and there wasn’t a hammer head on my conversion kit Is it actually required to use even if I have the OEM handguard Or if I go to the switchback one
Thank you for telling us about the hole in the dust cap and that hammer head. I love this new addition to my Tavor X95.

Yeah, it is very non-obvious how that part works, and the fact that it is not in the X95 manual makes it even more of a pain to figure out!
Very useful video. Glad you showed us the barrel assembly to explain better!
Thanks for solving the puzzle that had me disassembling and reassembling several times hoping to figure out how to install the new handle.
Thanks! That hammerhead had me stumped, though the camming and forward assist functions seem practical.
Off topic. Any chance of you guys making the flip out bipod that attaches to cutlass grip for Tavor 7 like you had for original Tavor?

Question my switchback wiggles at the front a few mm is this normal ?
Any instructions on installing a 2nd charging handle on the other side? You mention 'slight modification' to the dust cover in your description
I ended up reverting back to the factory (gen4?) charging handle. Switchback seems to be chewing up the plastic body of the rifle pretty badly.

Do you know my tavor want go into battery when it's new out of the box?
Is it possible to install two charging handles?
This video would be far more helpful if it showed the charging handle install with the stock forend rather than an aftermarket one.
Is that the 13 or 16 inch barrel?
will these ever be back in stock?
screw the charging handle, i want to know about the forestock and rail system
First!
This one looks ugly
