Question my switchback wiggles at the front a few mm is this normal ?

They look great, and I love that they are now of a heavy-duty upgrade from the plastic originals.

Update: Per Revision-E, the Ejection Port Cover and Base are now found on Page-89 of the X95 Manual.

*It does not fit properly.. The screw that goes above the charging handle slot is too low, causing the charging slot to close near the end throwing the entire look and feel off as well as making the charging handle not go forward completely. Very displeased with the amount of money spent on this product for it to be crap. I would like a replacement or a refund.*

This video would be far more helpful if it showed the charging handle install with the stock forend rather than an aftermarket one.

This is very nice, and check out the butt stock pad. A must have with this little bull🐂. But if you are adding or have a CAN. The light may interfere with your suppressor🤔. So... you may have to pick one over the other😞

You left out the part where you have to drill those two screws out because the people assembling them use red locktite which will cause you to strip out the heads.

This charging handle upgrade, along with the free floating fore end, removes two spots where the barrel is encumbered by a ring shaped mount. One is for the fore end and the other for the stock charging handle, both could affect accuracy. Free floating eliminates outside movement on the barrel itself potentially Improving accuracy. I added a geisselle trigger and pack. Can’t wait to test accuracy.

You filmed this “professional” “How to” video vertically? It’d be a great video if this vertical video wasn’t compressed to 1/3 its potential size. That, and our eyes don’t work for vertical perception, they work for horizontal perception. Our eyes aren’t stacked one on top of the other, they’re in fact spaced horizontally on our heads. While I appreciate people that help with videos like this, for the love of god, can we nuke these fucking vertical videos from orbit? Seriously, I fucking hate apple for ever letting this be possible. Serious question, what goes through someone’s mind when they begin filming and decide, “yep, I want to make sure this is in the most unusable format possible and make sure I only use a third of the available screen?” Was it thought out that far? I just don’t get it. Can we blame social media? Who can I blame for this idiocy? Otherwise, thanks for the video.

I ended up reverting back to the factory (gen4?) charging handle. Switchback seems to be chewing up the plastic body of the rifle pretty badly.

My set screw is so tight, what could I do to fix that I’m scared to strip it

That Fenix is a good light w/1700 lumens. My SureFire has only 1k lumens and was expensive. The forend looks amazing! Better than stock for sure. If you’re going to suppress this rifle, you may have a clearance issue for the light with this barrel length. 👍

.Sorry for the over kill. The last pice you were talking about that you were not sure hows its used . That part is called the spoon . It attaches onto the the belt on the side you start in the rifel first with . Its the first link in the line . Its long and narrow so you can feed the spoon in first before the belt and its long enough to push it all the way through the upper reciver with ease and out the small link box on the right side for proper alignment with the link fall away tray . Once you insert the spoon there will be just enough spoon sticking out right side of link box to allow you to grab the tip of the spoon and pull the belt slightly until it clicks into place and the round is perfectly centered above the bolt . It allows fast belt loads . Stick the spoon through grab it pull it shoot it .

Wish you had started with an unmodified x-95. With respect to the barrel blocks are they on new X-95's? if so, does the flash hider need to be removed to take them off.

I was afraid I would have to do it again when I found that little plastic spacer for the bottom hinge of the OEM buttpad. Had to come back to this video to make sure I didn't leave anything out.

Larger butt pad? Awesome. Muzzle Break barrel nut? Also excellent. Allows the use of all extended chokes (some extended choke tubes do not fit with the factory barrel nut)... though I wish they had an actual muzzle-brake baffles/plates for real recoil reduction. That would be a great future update. Extended Charging Handle? Fail. 1) Why isn't the handle notched on BOTH sides like the factory one, preventing issues for users who forget or have to reinsert it under stress. 2) Why isn't the tip of the shaft machined down a touch to allow it to press the butt pad button? Machine down the lower 1/2" by fractions of an inch and you solved your butt pad button problem. No extra tools nessesary... just use the charging handle. Its been a few years... any chance we'll see an updated charging handle?

Just ordered one… Something I have toyed with in my head is a thin metal shield to cover the trigger components. One that sits under the barrel to prevent debris from getting into the FCG. Looks like it should be possible, there are pins for the FCG that might be used to hold it in place. This was the only real weak point in the mud test by InRange… Still not a big concern, as their attempt to wash away the mud is what allowed the mud to get into the trigger. Still, it could be helpful to have something like that.

Really appreciate this video! This also applies to the bolt swap on the 3 plus. Same pins made the swap quick and easy!

I presume you recommend thread locker on the screws?

Any reason there is not a second locking position on the stock vs the brace? I have the brace and looming to switch it to the stock, but the loss of a position sucks. It’s the position I use the most.
