I like that rear-end setup, I think it's a clever way of mounting the wing, and evening out the f/r weight distribution some. Not that it weighs much, but better to add weight over the rear. On second thought, it looks like the perfect place for a battery relocation. Can't wait to see the finished product!
Been following your build for awhile. I'm hoping to mimic it where I can, although my build will be much milder. You've clearly done your research and figured out what works. Thanks for documenting it.
I am a welder/fabricator with a g35 and really want to know more about that custom plenum. Been wanting to buy one but seen yours and would love to do this my G.
Bro that blox is trash. I had it at torture and I kept throwing p0300 because my plenum would come loose. I ended up going with a Crawford plenum which never came loose. But seriously don’t use that thing. Been flowing you for a long time. Use a metal one please. Get that fing 90mm installed already!!!!!!!! 😊 been waiting to long for that. So long I sold my entire de and swapped in a complete hr swap. Soon to install a soho top mount single on it
I am curious as to why the cage was not tied into the rear shock towers? I am ignorant of chassis/cage geometry, so this is a question and not a critique.
It is. Maybe just not the typical way you may be used to seeing. The cage was made before true Coilovers which need adjustment from the top were installed. After the Coilovers were installed in a subsequent year the top mount of the shock towers are heavily capped in steel plating that is tied into the cage mounts.
@@2THPWR welp! Atleast there’s progress lol.. love your De build man! I recently purchased a fully forged and turboed 2004 350z that needs a few things but got the car for 6k, it’s my second 350z de but I am truly inspired by your build since my first 350z a couple years ago, hope to see your car running soon and see what the new results are on the dyno

oooooooo been waiting for this!!! please don't worry about posting more videos. Very interested in seeing as much of the process as you can show.
Looking great!!👍🏼👍🏼
Strut bar from an HR 350z will give you more room for the plenum. If you are interested.

Did they spray trunk seal? :D
Hi Michael, any reason you have chosen APR 250 instead of 300 rear wing?...thanks
Less drag
Can you drive this on the street or do you trailer it to the track.
Track only. Trailering was cheaper than insuring long term
How much longer till it’s running and on the dyno?
Dude if I knew. The shop still has the car and says it needs a new cam sensor.
