    Wow man... Just seeing your thumb already gave some solution... I usually get the bones in the center of the mesh... but always close the hand like SH*T. Your bones are edited in the upper part of the finger seems to already solve the bending and throwing the finger front problem. Thank you for that one.
    The bone pivot point should be more mentioned in tutorials.

    followed exact steps, didnt work. it moves the boness but not the model
