There isn't a homeowner out there that didn't at some point feel like "What have I done??" Someday you will look back and think "Whew! How did we do all that?" Keep your eye on the prize. You're doing a great job.

It will be well worth the price.

Look into garden of eden wood chip gardening. It keeps the soil moist and soft, keeps the top soil from blowing away, and you use much less water. There's a few vids here on youtube.

If you are keeping the wood chips you should cover them with a tarp to keep them dry. They work good in your wood stove.

  • @mikegupguthrie-futurenomad7866

Right decision was made in letting the professionals fell the trees for you! They’ll get it done in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost had you tried to do yourself.
Getting rid of those trees isn’t only going to make your property safer, it is going to help the other trees and vegetation below thrive from additional sunlight.
And the bonus of it all is, you will have some very nice wood chipped paths to walk at some point in the future. 😁
As always, stay safe out there….
