Early on I was nostalgic to go back to the Sims 2 soundtrack, but I've really been catching myself humming bits and pieces of the soundtrack to 4 a lot, particularly this song. It's good stuff. Besides, all but a few of the best Sims 2 tracks are in the game's radio already, when needed
The music and the vibe feels like that in sims 4, too pure. The sims 2 and 3 felt more threatening with things like burglars but the sims 1 takes the cake for creepiest vibe. Especially those prank calls, creepy even as an adult. But I do appreciate that this music/pack and some of the prank calls in Eco Life make the game feel more sinister. I don't know if base sims 4 has prank calls but they definitely should.
Yes yes yes. I have a family where the husband is the vampire and the wife is a normal human and they are married with vampire kids. He feeds off her, but in my story she loves him. I wish I could give her a vampire lover trait so she wouldn’t get disgusted by her family members lol

I love dark themes in games, even in sims. My sims 3 is always so gothic and with mods is even better. This particular song surprised me in a good way. Usually it's happy rainbows songs. Well I hate those. Still remember great time when I found Lacuna Coils song in TS3 radio station. That was even more amazing.
@@user-od2qc2od1y I play sims 3 , and sims 4 on console sadly, my pc cant handle sims 4 that good, but can handle 3 with all packs except island paradise, strange. well, i can handle sims 4 on pc but its laggy except if i have small home and 1-3 sims around ( modded ), but i mainly play it on console because its very smooth there, i only miss wicked whims and mcc....

Stellaris is a Sci-Fy video game with a block buster movie's quality OST that have musics close to what you can hear in this "Sims 4 - Vampires - CAS 1" music, with smooth eerie woman voice echoing on strange/surreal/futurist beats. You don't even need to know the game Stellaris itself to enjoy its OST. If you like "The Sims 4 Vampires - CAS & Build Full 1" part at 2:40 I can bet you may find some amazing Stellaris' soundtrack awesome as well. :)

Eerie and dark yet beautiful. Immortal to take on the harsh changes of the world. Whether you evolve from human to vampire or to another humanoid being entirely. The feeling of your power but of course having compassion and respect for inferior or even unknown superior life forms around you.
Whenever I listened to these songs from Vampires, I'm like "dang it, I was going to make just a regular human, but now I want to make my human into a vampire I stead" 😅
Say what you want about the Sims 4 but you have to admit that most of the music in the different packs are great. This song sounds like it's straight out of a RPG. It's godly.
When I first heard this song I was playing CAS at 2 am in the morning and it scared the sh*t out of me but now I really enjoy it. One of the best so far!
Something that always catches my attention in this song is the constant beating rythm that sounds almost like a heart. It appears starting fast, and often stays fast when it reappears, but at some point, it comes back slower, and then speeds up. Now I interperet this as two different things: 1) this is the heartbeat of a sim who knows a vampire is trying to get him. That brief moment where his heart slows down is when he believes he's safe, maybe he got out of sight, or maybe he got into his home lot and is of the belief that the vampire can't enter. And that moment where his heart speeds up again is him realising he's wrong. (This is honestly the one that makes the least sense to me but it was my first interpretation.) Or 2) The initial fast heartbeat is a sim who, just like the other one, is possibly being pursued by a vampire, with brief moments where he thinks he's safe just to be proven wrong. But this time, when the slower heartbeat appears, it isn’t his. It's the sound of a different sim's heartbeat. He was turned, and can now sense the blood flowing through a nearby sim's body. The heartbeat getting faster again is an indication that he's now the one pursuing a sim, with the heartbeat cutting off one last time likely being an indication of him drinking from them. While I honestly feel like my second interpretation is more accurate, both in my opinion reflect the Vampires Pack very well, either you know that at some point, someone might attack you at night, or you are the one attacking others at night, it all depends on what type of sim you end up playing as.

The music in sims 4 Vampire is DARK and anxiety provoking.
