This is a fantastic remix. The added 'bridge' (or whatever it's called, at 0:46 - 1:15) is a very nice addition. It's a smacker. I wish I knew a more about music theory, so I could accurately convey what I love about the changes to 0:14 - 0:25. It's like the the peaks/troughs of the notes are a lot smoother, it really flows.

This is quite late, but the original version actually only uses 4 audio channels and would be able to run on the NES's APU. In other words, the original is full "8-bit." This however, would've required a more advanced APU and couldn't run on the NES without modification as it has 10 audio channels.
Oh my GOSH I love how intense both the bassline and percussion in all your songs are (or at least they feel that way to me), and that whole new second half is SO good!
