- Quicksilver is the ultimate underdog every one adores so it makes sense that he likes to flex his speed. The dude’s so fast that they literally had to get 2 actors to play him! Of course, this is not to undermine his popularity, but come on- I think we can all agree that the grey-haired speedster needs more love. And that’s exactly what we’re gonna do in this video because I’m presenting to you my Top 10 Quicksilver Flexes in the movies.

If you are talking about the flash TV show yes it's so bad written and cgi but love action movies, zsjl exist and it's by far the best representation of the flash and far better than quicksilver
the first three seasons of flash felt like flash, rest was eh. Although the flash showed the coolest speedster trail imo

I agree with Quicksilver being the better character of those two, but you cant just say flash doesnt have personality. I didnt watch the live-action series but in DC animated uviverse there are some really good movies, showing of Flashes great personality, also there is the old animated series and lots and lots of comics.
@@pixel-rageunbound1935 Im just going off the live action films. The flash is kidna boring. I like quicksilver more. Even when hes in danger, hes not always scared, or worried like the flash is. I like that fact about quicksilver.
I think that one of the best things about Evan's QS is that during those main two scenes (the kitchen and mansion) he went as fast as he NEEDED to, but clearly wasn't pushing himself so could have gone faster.
The mansion scene from X-men is insane from a math standpoint. That version of QS was running around 7.3 million mph. But QS in any universe still has nothing on The Flash's speed (though you can argue that The Flash's superpower isn't actually super speed, but is instead access to the Speed Force).
@@mimcduffee86 I hate how many sources put Superman's speed at par with the Flash. Just because Superman is Superman, shouldn't automatically make him the best at everything. Aquaman is both stronger and faster in the water, and the Flash is infinitely faster.
One of my favourite examples of the difference in speed between the Flash and Superman is actually from SMALLVILLE, back in the day. In the episode with a young Bart Allen, the two have a friendly race at the end. While Clark is clearly struggling to keep up, Bart turns towards him, not breaking a sweat, salutes, smiles and he's gone.
If Quicksilver used knifes, a lot of people he was just punching would've been way dead.

Even as a flash fan, I must say, scenaries like the sweet dreams are made of this really deserve the "this is how flash shld have been showcased" kind of thought. Quicksilver really shows off better then any flash scenes i've seen thus far.

In many of his iterations and in the comics, he can be faster than an explosion, and one time he went faster than the speed of light
The MCU chose to downscale the power levels of comic characters, wheras Xmen is a contextual decision. Comic versions are much more powerful but they aren't as weak in Xmen as they would be in the MCU
Because plot. There are many ways he could have saved the people, like moving them away from the bullets, moving the bullets, grabbing a shield, ect. In this case he was killed because the writers wanted to. Anti-plot armor, if you will
MCU Quicksilver had only had his powers for a couple of years. Fox's Quicksilver was a mutant who had been using his powers for 20+ years. Why would a QS with decades of practice not be faster than a QS who had only had them for a couple of years (with much of that time spent in a jail cell after being experimented on)?

Also Evan peters was the highlight of all the xmen movies I watched with him in it. He really deserves his own movie where he's actually the main character. Granted I consider him the mc in the ones I watched anyway because he carried those movies so hard, even if did end up losing to the final villain and had his leg snapped...
I mean we can all agree that we watched those movies because Quicksilver is there right? I understand the way they killed Marvel Quicksilver due to Rights issues but come on, dying to a bullet instead of Ultron has got to be the purest most lame way to die as a smarter and wiser speedster fastest man alive ever.

@@mikblues_146 The thing is that the two Quicksilvers (or even three if you count Evan Peters' character from Wandavision) are the result of two different events giving them powers. Peters' QS is a mutant that had powers from birth, Taylor-Johnson's QS didn't get powers until he was an adult. And since the X-Men revised timeline puts Peters' age around mid-60s, he has had decades more practice using his innate speedster abilities than the MCU QS has had. Comparing the power levels of the two different QSs is disingenuous at best.

Really liked Evan peters in the role. And the method of showing his speed, the best. In fact, the way they show Evan/quicksilver's powers ..you wonder if his abilities are more 'adjusting the speed of time' as opposed to being a Speedster
As for Flash, I've always preferred the TV Flash actor (to the current film actor)

Quicksilver slowing down his speech when he repeats the word whiplash is a cool reference to his in-comics character development. There's an issue of Avengers Academy where he's talking to someone about the frustrating social effects of her powers (she's constantly analyzing everyone's movements and body language and has a hard time connecting emotionally or socially). He reveals that he can't actually turn his super-speed all the way off. He basically has to gauge how fast he's talking so that people hear him properly instead of just as a a buzzing sound, because his normal speech rate would make even Eminem go "slow down, man". He mentions that every normal conversation, to him, feels like a normal person would feel waiting in line behind an elderly person at an ATM, assuming that elderly person had no clue how to operate one. Just interminable waiting for them to get done with something that, to him, seems to take hours.
One of the coolest xmen with the coolest powers, I’d love to see more of this
The original quick silver is so sick. It is a true shame what Marvel did to the character in the newer movies. Made him slower, casted a shit actor, and made him weak af

Flash is faster for sure. Never seen quicksilver travel in time because he's so fast. Don't get me wrong I would like to see more of this character.
He has, but only while his powers were being amped up by Wanda. But even a Scarlet Witch amped Quicksilver is a snail compared to The Flash with the Speed Force.

its like he cant stay consistent one moment he has enough time to fool around eat noodles and change bullet trajectories the next moment he doesnt have time and gets shot like cheese, and then he saves dozens from explosion while messing around it like either you move 100miles per hour or 20 just choose 1
2 different movies, MCU they generally nerf them even more so when compared to other movies they're in, well except for scarlet witch which they buffed the hell out of while nerfing the hell out of doctor strange :p
