When Ironman Villains went God Mode in Movies: czcams.com/video/1VuxoUcRG6k/video.html
What version of seven nation army did you use if you don’t mind me asking?
he was a man of his times. Great character.
He gave us peace in our times
The best
Yes...almost an American Bond.
RDJ really is the perfect guy to play Tony Stark. I know he resents the role a little bit because it's so close to himself that he lost a bit of his acting skills he had to work to get back, but the world will always love the job he did.
His own experience with drugs and alcohol also made him perfect for it. While they never did 'Demon in a bottle' in the MCU, it's still a core part of the character that RDJ embodies beautifully.
Tony Stark vs. Doctor Strange.
My money is on the guy who played Sherlock Holmes.
They both played Sherlock Holmes...
Ya that’s what it’s about
@@tozomeitei4161 r/whoooosh
He really did play the role perfectly.. If you've seen his movies previous to Ironman, like Scanner Darkly, he brings a certain eccentricity that made Tony Stark a likable person. He really is a one of a kind actor
"You throw another moon at me I'm gonna lose it"
I think this is best flexes.
That should have been number two in all honesty... Ironman seemed to put up the most consistently reliable fight against Thanos out of everyone... Everytime he went at Thanos he embarrassed Thanos... compared to some of the others, like Thor, who seemed to never make up his mind on whether or not to go for the head. Cap who really only ever put up a fight the few moments after he took up Mjolnir then started losing again... I'd point Captain Marvel but Thanos did hit her with the full force of the powerstone which is where her powers came from to begin with. Scarlet Witch in Endgame damned near killed him but in infinity war she was not particularly strong against him. so at least hers is linear and not all over the fucking place.
Fr they could have relesead that audio on a black screen as the trailer and I would have been entranced.
RDJ SO owned that part. No one else could EVER play iron man but him
Nah, he didn't play the part. He IS the part
He actually said the role hurt his skills because it was so natural for him to play the role
And if Nicolas Cage has played the role you wouldn't be able to imagine anyone else but him.
RDJ is awesome in the role and I hope we all know it, but no one would EVER know it if it was anyone else playing Iron Man.
"You can rest now."
I swear those four words always make me tear up...
His "I am Iron Man" statement wasn't just a callback to the first Iron Man movie when he revealed his identity.
It was also a callback to the first Avengers movie when Steve Rogers said he wasn't the guy to make the sacrifice play.
Tony made the big sacrifice and went out like a rock star. Outsmarted Thanos and saved the universe.
I always thought she should have called to Wong or Strange and quickly portal them to Wakanda to use some of that magic healing to try to save him.
@@beayn there wasnt enough time. Tony was essentially wearing an infinity suit at that point, literally destroying every vital organ in his body with cosmic radiation. There was no way to save him, only saying goodbye before the magnitude of the damage finally took its toll.
Robert Downey jr kept sneaking snacks on set, so ever time you see him snacking in the movies it’s usually not scripted 😂
Ever since I saw the 1st Iron Man movie, I've always liked Tony Stark. A man who was smart, had morals, could back up his words with action (with the suit, of course, haha) was funny with his burns, & lastly, was an excellent mentor for Spiderman (as well as giving Spiderman a suit worthy for his abilities)
RDJ took ownership of the role, palys Tony ZStark perfectly, made it his only, which is quite the feat given he hasn't always had the Stark lifestlye although a talented actor (just saying, delicately, haha)
RDJ is Iron Man.
Even had the PS2 game, which was pretty cool
tony _developed_ morals. He really didn't start out with any genuine convictions beyond "be rich, get pussy, use people for my own personal gain". Without acknowledging that growth can we even really look up to him as a character? It honestly kind of scares me when I realize how many people think the original Iron Man was a good person simply because he had charisma. He may have been Iron Man, but the story of Tony Stark is one of learning how to become a man.
Not to imply I know what you really think. I'm probably misunderstanding, or myself am mistaken. This _is_ CZcams after all, feels like its the damn birthplace of those two things sometimes.
Questionable morals that he would outwardly look super cool & confident, but you know inside his head it’s always like a bag of cats!
Thanos said it perfectly. "Stark, You're not the only one who is cursed with Knowledge'.
07:46 I like how the "We're not there yet" misinterpreted hug in Homecoming foreshadows the huge hug Tony Stark gives Peter Parker in Endgame. When I saw them hug in Endgame I immediately remembered this scene. 🙂
When Stark told Steve that he was useless, I believe he was talking in the context of the room, a lab with 2 genius scientists, creating Ultron I think. Since Rogers couldn't really help with that, he was useless under the circumstance. It was Starks way of telling Rogers to go away!
r u 4 real?
1st watch the movie, master the degree, then educate us buddy.
peace
Ultron was a several movies away.
I think he's just talking about the star sprangled suit that Rogers is wearing since they're talking about style. Could be wrong of course
I really could have sworn he said “effuse” , which stark is, Bruce is, and cap isn’t. It’s an articulate way to say articulate. I could be wrong, but he is clapping back at Steve, calling him out for the ridiculous costume after Steve’s jab, and basically calling him stupid. It’s meant to go over his head a little, but not ours. I could be wrong, but that’s what I heard every time I’ve watched the scene.
Not creating Ultron, tracking the Tesseract. But yes.
Probably the greatest flex to me is the court scene in Iron Man 2. He makes a public fool of his rival Justin Hammer, and puts up a pretty good fight against the court trying to take his suits. He is so witty and I love it. Especially when they ty to pin him, only for hi to hack their systems and put up embarrassing evidence of his own showign the other countries and ven Justin Hammer failing miserabbly, especially Justin as his suit killed a man in a brutal way live on tv.
he does state the guy survived
@@Darkofwho he does but hes obviously lying. I dont see how a person having their body turned 180° so forcefully would not have their entire spine broken to pieces.
@@graddeosHuh? I understand what you said but it doesn't make sense.
@@mcmaldek What doesnt make sense to you? Hammer stated the pilot survived. But the pilot cannot have survived an 180° turn in his waistline. His spine would be broken and the force of the turn was so big from the speed that the pain he experienced would have sent him into a massive shock, dying in the process.
@@graddeos No, I didnt say I don't understand it. I said it doesn't make sense.
People break their spines all the time, get blown up, some have lost their entire bottom half and survived... "massive shock" isn't a medical reality, I suspect you just made that up right now to justify your claim...
Shock is shock and though some can die from it, most don't. Therefore the pilot could have very easily survived. It's quite believable to say the pilot survived and less likely that he did not survive.
So to say he's obviously lying when it is in fact not obvious... doesn't make snese.
I love RDJ, its like he was born for the role, i just love the way he can make a joke anywhere at anytime
The endpoints of the Ironman arc, with Cap saying "You aren't the guy who's going to lay it down for the cause..." Then at the very lat moment, facing Thanos and the probable end of all things... Doing precisely that, puts a big fat satisfying bow on a the gift that was Ironman.
RBJ filled those nanotech shoes perfectly.
RDJ playing Ironman is like Ryan Reynolds playing Deadpool... Sure other folks can do it and probably do it well... but those two were their characters they just are Tony Stark and Wade Wilson just are RDJ and Ryan Reynolds, and so long as they are willing to play the roles (regardless of cost) I think it would be wrong to give the role to anyone else...
The same with Hugh Jackman being Wolverine
The same with Toby Maguire being spider man
26:54 That isn’t the Mk. II suit. The Mk. II is the silver suit taken by Rhodie and turned into the War Machine suit. The Mk. I suit is the one he built in captivity. This is actually the Mk. III suit
came here just to call him out for this mistake
The Jericho scene from Iron Man is so iconic that Blizzard's Zandalari Princess Talanji, imitated it in the Horde intro cinematic from Battle for Azeroth.
That final "I am Iron Man" was showing Cap that he was the man to 'lay on the wire'
Funny fact: the Shawarma scene was added after the filming had wrapped, so if you look at Chris Evans (Capt America) he's blocking the lower half of his face. When they did these reshoots (which all movies do, to either fix something or add something) Chris had a nearly full beard by then for another film he was working on. He couldn't lose the beard, because the other film wasn't done shooting yet, so they just had him block the lower half of his face.
One of the funniest roasts for Tony towards Steve to me was in the first Avengers movie after Romanoff said they were on a threat list. If you listen closely as they all start to argue you hear Tony say to Steve "You're on that list? Are you above or below angry bees?"
Cap: you’re not the man to make the sacrifice play.
Tony: and I took that personally
I feel like there is going to be a multiverse iron man movie in the future
Maybe see his Sorcerer Supreme version. In the old what-if comic he unintentionally usurped Strange's destiny and was the magitech-armored Sorcerer Supreme.
I'm still good with the concept of Tom Cruise being a multi Iron Man.
Good, evil, sorceror, whatever.
Don't really care about the particulars. Just make it happen.
It would be a mistake.
I only just learned this recently but the shawarma scene in avengers was actually filmed after production had wrapped up for the movie and Chris Evans was already cast in another role with different facial hair. So they had to get all the actors back together to film it and cap is posed so you can’t see his face
"... I'm not Tony Stark"
That's right, you're Ralphie from a Christmas Story. You're still pretty iconic!
The way he backfire captain americas question highlight my day haha 😂😂
His biggest flex is... eating while all these is happening.
iron man was good even in comics, but robert made him legendary
Behind this one highly paid actor....is a bunch of un-mentioned, unknown VFX artists who worked over ten years to create the Ironman Magic...
And they could barely feed themselves....
Anything about iron man always takes me back to the movie 😊
When he bought a sky scraper moments before slamming Hulk through it had my jaw sweeping the floor lol. In a world with super heroes and magical gods, I was still absolute dumbfounded by the amount of his expendable income lol.
"Do'th mother know, you wear'th her drapes?" will never not be funny
It sucks that Iron Man is dead, he'll never meet Mister Fantastic or Deadpool. It would've been such a paradigm shift to see Tony not be the undisputed smartest guy in the room since Reed is smarter than him in every possible way. Tony would also see Peter gravitate more towards Reed than him which would've been really interesting to see especially on the 616 Illuminati. And with Deadpool, no screenwriter would be able to properly write a scene with those two, it would just be Robert Downey Jr and Ryan Reynolds going back and forth throwing improvised lines at each other and it would've been amazing. Sucks we'll never get to see it.
Just like the scripts in 'Mork and Mindy'.
They just left blank areas with "Robin goes off, here." 😂
This was an incredible video, great commentary great clip assembly. VERY well done. I am a fan
Appreciate the kind words. Hope you have a great day, KING.
the scene fade out from obadiah's little shout at 6:35 was perfectly timed so that it faded out and on screen blasted a pizza hut commercial. Excellent timing.
Tony is the best Avenger...always a fan of RDJ, btw..awesome video🔥🔥👍🏼
Does anybody not like Toby wait I know who my brother
one of the best videos I've seen in a long time Thank You !!!!!!!
I like how you bring up Cumberbatch being Sherlock Homes like Downey wasnt.
One of the best videos made about Iron man and Robert
Love the Gwyneth, Paltrow and Mark kissing on the TV. 😂 dying 😂
you literally summarized the best of my best parts in marvel movies....nice work mate
Damn good video, great job lad. Hope you make it big.
The way you inserted fury saying exit the donut for peter getting his parachute was hilarious
The fact that they didn't have Spiderman say no shit Sherlock and RDJ and Cumberpatch look at each other and him
if I could improve one line "Textbook... Narcissism? ~short breath~ I try to embellish it but it just isn't important to me."
Great video and very insightful. Thank you for sharing it!!!!
This was a very good video! And there's no doubt RDJ is Iron Man!! He was born to play that roll. That's why he hasn't been able to top it by playing any other character in any other movie since that roll. And i don't think there's another roll that he can play to where he will get as much positive praise as he does with playing in the MCU. Which is crazy because most actors when they get in that situation it's a bad thing for their career. And it's funny that after End Game Kevin feige said no more Iron Man. We're not going to keep going back to that character to save the franchise. Well? That's the only play the MCU has right now to get people back in the seats. RDJ could get a blank check from Marvel and Disney to come back and play that part. I would bet that RDJ will make history with the amount of money that he's going to receive to come back and play that character. Him and Chris Evens. Thors last movie sucked because they won't get rid of that director. His behind closed doors sicko self and what he's into he was allowed to brought it to the big screen and it totally ruined love&thunder. So now there's only 2 characters that's in a position to save and make bank for there selves and for the companies. IRON MAN & CAPT. AMERICA.
22:23. Point Break?! I love it!
...I didn't carbon date him.... 😂😂😂
Tony Stark wanted to save the world but ended up saving the universe
Thanks for this video man. ❤❤❤❤
I love this man!
They never should have gotten rid of Robert Downey Jr. He made the MCU and his death killed it.
In Scourge's voice(Transformers): I love the camera angles on Black Widow especially near the end there...very flattering...👌👌
Stark has the best music taste
AC/DC rule!
26:53 Come on, learn that that is the Mark III, not Mark II. Mark II is the gray one, the one that Rowdy takes.
Tony stark: "Im sorry Earth is closed today"
Me: Tell that to me school
THANKS FOR THIS!!!
In my school vr game the biggest flex is the iron man boss fight specifically his line which are basically him mocking the player and Goalius heck his last line before infernal wrath activities is him breaking the fourth wall by commenting on your love life
4:25 y'know, i love it that you bring up Sherlock because guess what?!... so has RDJ. Robert was also a Sherlock 😂😂😂
Amazing video. Thank you very much.
Typo:
@27:55 - It's not "common man," it's "C'mon, man."
man this guy really thinks that loki surrendered at first, in the avengers
I know he had it all planned
Of course he does, that's his ego on display. Even when someone tries to point it out Stark denies it out of hand.
@@shadizersilverhand2113 🤣🤣
Even a false surrender is a surrender though?
@@selonianth oh yea einstein🤡 lol
I loved how rdj would sneak snacks into so many scenes. 😂
like this video?? Loved it bro its like rewatching all my Ironman memories
I love that Bridges messed up by flipping his tie when yelling at that scientist and just kept going, made for a good scene.
I only just got that shawarma reference I didn't even realize thanks for the heads up
R.I.P. Gary Shandling. You were a comedy goldmine.
wait, didnt loki only surrender because he wanted to get on the flying ship?
Yes. He had other options, but they didn't know about them.
I would suggest a video with subs and those scenes without any auditory comments by the uploader. Nice video
30 years ago, Swayze would have been Thor.
27:17 When you first saw the "Walking away from the explosion" scene, you couldn't help but think of a scene from a movie that hadn't come out yet?
Ok then.
When did he say he watched it when it came out though.
"Women want him and Men want to be him" is the most accurate line I've ever heard for Robert Downey Jr.
I enjoy watching these
Great video
6:41 I don't really see that as Stark "questioning Fury's usefulness." That's his way of saying "please save the lecture. I know I messed up."
Captain america showcases bravery. Thor shows power. And Iron Man shows intelligence. The few times they worked together, they got the job done. Its sad realizing their fight between thanos together will be the last we see all three fighting together
5 The fight in Golmira was the Mk 3 suit. Mk 2 was the silver one that iced up. Which in the MCU, became War Machine.
4:29 Tony is ALSO Sherlock Holmes
8:46 well Robert Came up w that on the spot (Tom holland wasn’t supposed to hug rdj in the script but they kept it in bc it was funny
Steve had to level up some more to fullfill Mjolnir's level requirement to fight with the big boys!
Tony Stark: You can call him a genius, prick, billionaire, sassy, playboy, King of Nicknames, philanthropist, cocky but whatever you do call him at least one of them is Iron Man.
Watching this entire thing was worth it JUST to find out what that "Point Break" comment was finally about after all these years!!! Lol.
i did not expect castlevania music randomly in the vid but im not complaining
yea nanosuit in vest folded suit in suitcase sounds right. but nobody can explain where his armor came from it this heli scene :)

"I'm the best"
*Famous last words*
26:54 Bro you made a great video, just a little mistake, The suit tony wore during the fight with the ten rings is the mark 3 not the mark 2, as we could clearly see at the end when he fought Obadiah Stane, we could see the mark 2 hanging there. Plus, the mark 2 was later on taken by rhodes, which in iron man 2, became the war machine, loaded with weapons by hammer industries. And yeah this is completely different as the mark 3 suit was made with a gold - titanium alloy and got painted in hot rod red, this was done as to solve the icing problem faced by him during his testing of mark 2 and him trying to break the altitude record of the sr71 blackbird. Plus this suit had a heated underlay to maintain temperature inside the suit and also to keep the ice from forming on the surface of the suit
Sometimes you think, how arrogant must Thanos be in the final scene to not even check the gauntlet before snapping!!!
Everyone is sad we didn't get a no shit, sherlock joke... Maybe it was too obvious...but sometimes obvious works.
Funnily enough the hug scene in homecoming wasnt even scripted, it was a ganuine mistake from actor Tom Holland, and RDJ just played along as to not ruin the scene. The director loved it so much they kept it in because it fit the characters so well
I like to think that he couldn’t read what was on the card in IronMan so he just admits that he’s IronMan
“dOth moTher KnOw you WEarEth her drApeS?” 😂😂😂😂
26:46 Thats the Mark 3 armor upgraded to use titanium-gold instead of steel to solve the "icing problem" that the Mark 2 had
Great video. Thank you
In russian dub Thor voice activation was Goldilocks
fun fact. rdj hid snacks around the set. the crew always tried to find them, when tony offered cap blueberries in the is everything funny to you scene. they were real and unscripted
Mann he told them earth was closed 🤣🤣
good job man
9:47. Can you guys imagine if Tony started making threatening raps towards Loki? Like a sick trap beat comes on, then says what he’s gonna say to Loki, but raps about it. 😂
Funny story about the hug moment though. It was improvised by RDJ ;D
my favorite flex is when he first introduced the nanotech suit😭 that was so swaggy
