Doug McNeil hunts a massive 80-year old crocodile in Zambia, where the challenges include a dangerous recovery through 300 yards of crocodile-infested water.
Thanks for the video Chris ... brought back some good memories .... lived and hunted in Africa for 37 odd years ... now people know why i used my 460 Weatherby for most of my hunting when out taking a walk on the wild side ... lost count of the number of times the 460 saved my skinny backside ... Chaps who do not hunt a lot don't seem to realize how fast things can turn to toast out there .
@@reibzaise5310 A human can survive poor shot placement. The only difference is the animal has almost no prefrontal cortex and doesn't 'give up' when it's shot because it thinks it will die. It's the same reason that pacific Islanders in combat didn't react to being shot by smaller pistol caliber rounds. They had no concept of a 'gunshot'.
I was even more shocked that it took its blood with it and its tracks/slide and how the cameraman focused on the people's reaction instead of what was going on with the croc LOL
I noticed when he shot at the green fruit the bullet scraped the wood- the shot placement was about an 1 into 1 1/2 in low- need to shoot a paper target to verify impact point
0:46 Actually you shot a little low LOL

At last seeing the hunter lead the water challenge and not sending the Africans, thats a real hunter right there!! Not the other coward hunters
I was as shocked as him to see that croc get up after 2 hard shots! That's one seriously tough reptile.

That shot showed your calmness and composure in a decisive moment!
And left it injured
Love to see those dinosaurs eating molten lead - good shooting guys
how old was it
Wow, that took so much skill
10:40 "These animals have survived for centuries!"
If not even for decades... 😂😂😂

Zambia my country damn😉💪
Just go over there.
For anyone wondering. Yes. They get way bigger than this one here.
The other guy sounds like Peter Chipman
Imagine aiii
Good
What caliber of the rifle did you use and the bullet caliber size
They literally say it in the beginning lol 😂
375 Dakota with 300gr Bullets
Why you killed the crocs? Just for fun? Those are the apex predators and harmless unless you cross their paths
🎉🎉
Ayyo why are they walking into the water knowing there’s more lurking 😅 some men are built different
Bring grappling hook to drag
Why are you killing these crocodiles?
Y todavía lo presumen asecinos
Great shot. but... why? what for?
Good meat, involving the locals in the value of theyr owns, protection and other reasons more.
Nature is always gruesome, not a ponyfarm.
Like shooting a rubber duck in a bathtub, not very sporting imo
what a bunch of cowards!
Absolutely disgusting shooting such a beautiful animal.
Couldn't you just shoot a photo does the crocodile 🐊 really need to die?
you people smh
"conservation" is a must every animal has to coexist. Therefore, they have to be managed
@@chocothycflowerio6122 they managed quite well before homosapians turned up
...did U eat the whole crocodile after or just kiling for fun??
lots of biltong
They are killing them to maintain the balance of nature
Why would you kill that innocent croc? What joy did you derive?
No Croc is innocent
Unnecessary
In the head is better.
Fake
killing a hapless animal
