Bull Elephants in Africa have no real enemies other than man. Theitlr population will explode and they will go extinct due to overgrazing an area. These elephants are likely on a very large game farm. Culls are required to manage the herds. This ensures their preservation, and conservation. Rather than getting paid rangers to do the culls, they have hunters who pay big money for the opportunity to hunt them. The meat and hide are given to the locals. The money goes to game preserve upkeep. They also pay taxes to the local governments as well.
