  • Here is my Review of Kajuru Castle Kaduna Nigeria.
We Flew out to Kaduna for an incredible wedding shoot for some friends of ours this past weekend.
It was an AMAZING time. Before we headed up the Kaduna City centre for the event, we had some time to kill, so we decided to take Quick Trip to Kajuru Castle Kaduna.
I had my gear with me so I said to my self, "Why not document this experience"? Here is the final result!
Filmed this video in 4k on My iPhone and Phantom 4 Drone and a GoPro Hero5.
Edited this with Final Cut Pro X.

Great video, it is sad that this community (Kadjiru) resently had a community clash. A British tourist was reported kidnapped in this Castle. I hate how humans naturally seek division in everything.

I first saw and knew about THIS castle in the Leriq video ( feat Wande Cole) titled "Wish List"... Crazy..I also did a research on it..some " interesting " story behind the castle and political maneuvers. The German who built it was in good terms with the then military governments till he and the IBB led military junta fell "out of relationship" or something and he was deported. I wonder if he was "settled"??? Anyway if the Kaduna State government gives this place to a very good tourism and management company, it would turn the place around and get more exposure. They should also review the prices to make it more attractive and affordable unless it is a deliberate attempt to be exclusive and for the rich. But great video though...but imagine the inspiration one can get here to write fictional and semi-fictional, romantic and/or faction stories, draw comics, create short movies and movies on both sides of the spectrum on this place that would go global for a very creative person...

    Hi there.
This Castle I visited last in the year 1989. I was almost 11 years old. We had a picnic in the near by Governmet hostels and schools with other expatriates. However we were never allowed to enter it. It was an enigma to see it from inside.
Thank you Tayo Aina, for showing a heritage of Kafuna. I was born in Nigeria, Kaduna and came back to India in 89.

Which kind country be this? You have a landmark like Kajuru castle and there are no good roads to reach it! Why Naija ? Why why why? You have a self acclaimed intellectual Mallam as governor of Kaduna state, yet no forward thinking or vision. They just poured tarmac on the main road, without street markings. Person tire, there seems to be no part of Nigeria willing to break from our mediocre norm, how sad!
