SHOOT me a message on IG FAMILY!!
"If it wasn't for tobacco, many of our black friends wouldn't be here today."
But is he lying though??
Is he though😂
"If you don't smoke you can grow up to be just like us!"
Oh man, that whole assembly was an advertisement FOR smoking at that point. The looks on their faces and then the very next scene is them smoking always cracks me up.
I don't smoke cigs either but I smoke weed. In fact I'm watching your reactions late at night after working all evening while stoned.
Yeah, I quit smoking cigarettes 6 months ago after getting a tooth pulled, and that specific part just made me want a smoke. Based though, smoke the herb everyday.
The first time I saw this episode, I knew exactly what was gonna happen next scene
I saw this assembly and started smoking that day…
22 years straight now 😂
I hate smoking for a variety of reasons but I also work a gas station and cigarettes are a common sale item. But if adults want to buy them, who am I tell them they can't? Only thing I need is a proper ID.
Exactly. Especially if you work for a gas station, because cars don't smoke 😂
Despite I grew as non smoking engineer...
This shit in middle school almost drove me into alcoholism.
It did!? 😦
That tobacco thing is actually true. I took American history in community college and tobacco did help create America and it was true about not knowing the dangers of smoking until much later in us history
Cartmen isn’t a jerk because he’s treated bad. He’s treated bad because he’s a jerk.
He's a jerk but he has alot of moments where he helped the group like they a team
School anti drug programs like this is the worst way to get kids to stay away from drugs. Remember DARE? Stan, Kyle, cartman and Kenny’s parents are no better than their kids in the principal office scene because they’re heavy alcoholics.
This episode was exposing hypocrisy. Reiner being anti smoking which smoking is not healthy but is eating fast food burgers which is equally as bad as smoking.
I think it's a poor comparison. Eating unhealthy foods is only affecting the person doing the eating but second hand smoke affects everybody who had to breathe it in. I love living in state where indoor smoking in public buildings is illegal. When I was a kid before that law took place you couldn't even walk into a Dennys without breathing in cigarette smoke. Now people have to go outside to smoke.
exactly more people die to obesity overall so to be SO against smoking while super fat and not trying to do anything is pure hypocrisy, idc if someone is fat but dont try and cry about others choices
@@cjg8763 lmao your just a authoritarian, it should be up to who owns the building if you dont want to breath it in guess what? dont go in what right do you have to stop people? imagine having such a big ego you want to ban everyone from doing something that you could easily avoid. People like you are the reason so many places close down like pubs you all cried how you "dont want to breath smoke" then never even go there and it has to close
@@cjg8763 also these people dont want to just force people to smoke outside there end goal is to ban it cause they are authoritarians and want to give gangs a new revenue source i guess, and you aint gonna like this it aint the Dennis fault its your parents for taking you to a place like that its called "personal responisbility"
@@imalittletoxicjustalittleYou don't die from obesity. It is not a disease. It can be caused by a disease but thats on a rare ocassion. Obesity is mostly just the result of being a lazy, unhealthy and pathetic individual.
If it weren't for tobacco, we wouldn't have Quizzy? What a blessing! lol
Ima have a smoke right now and appreciate Quizz.
Thank you for the cigarette, Quizzy!
He handpicked the tobacco plants just for u
Im Native American (Pascua Yaqui). I can definitely say that us Natives who follow our traditions use tabacco. Its a prayer herb. There's ways we use it, but i dont wanna make this comment too long. But the tobacco that the companies make is what we call in Ojibwe, kinikinik, meaning fake tobacco or not naturally grown tobacco. The tobacco we use for our traditions we call, asayma. The tobacco companies love to use our heritage to back them up.
And those tobacco companies that put all those chemicals in their cigarettes no doubt cause cancer quickly.
2:08 It's like that shit with DARE, except that didn't stop kids in Middle School from smoking weed out of apples.
Yeah I was one of those kids that supported DARE, they even came to one of my schools. And they're still right.
It's not like they've NEVER given Cartman chances... he always makes them regret it....
32:37
After Stan says that Kyle literally goes ‘No we didn’t, Stan. No we didn’t,’ just like you did and it cuts to credits
This man called the racism with such ACCURACY 😭😭😭 got HOF Deadeye on
Rob Reiner actually boutta fill up 5 toilet bowls after what he ate
Not sure if you understood the hypocricy of him eating junkfood all the time while talking about how to live a healthy life XD
I just love Mr Slave... 😅 I honestly miss him the most 😂😂😂
that “butt out” song is so funny 😹 one of the best in the show. keep it up quizzy! one of my fav reaction channels
"Holy shit, mmkay!" 😆😆😆
5:13
The lighter was in my hand. I thought you were talking directly to me 😂😂
At this point I tune in more to watch you react to South Park classics than I care to watch new episodes..so thank you bro for another banger!!!🙏🏼🔥
Man that put a smile on ya boi face !! I can’t lie
Cartman started out as a bad friend though..... you can't just expect your friends to stand with you if you don't show you're a decent friend who is worth standing by in the darker times or when you make a mistake in your life that might alter theirs too.
This is one of my favorite episodes of this show.
7:10 That reminds me of that scene in _Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas,_ where Pete (who's Mickey's boss in that movie) puts a cigar in his pocket and it burns his @$$ (along with Mickey's commission money he wrongfully pocketed).
(not to be confused with _Mickey's Christmas Carol,_ where Pete plays the Ghost of Christmas Future)
6:30 This craaaaaaaacks me up. Love it. lol
My dad died laughing when rob Reiner came on screen on this epsiode. I’d seen this episode before that but I didn’t really know who rob Reiner was. Dad told me rob Reiners dad was a big actor and rob just lived his life off inherited wealth.
I mean, he's a big part of This is Spinal Tap, and The Princess Bride. Which are good movies.
Rob is definitely a nepo baby, but he's written, directed, and/or produced several movies and TV Shows that are regularly in top 10 discussions, like Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Misery, Stand by Me, all of the Spinal Tap movies, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men, etc. Literally every one of those properties are genre-defining and/or history-making. You don't have to like the guy, but the quality of his work should be acknowledged.
Best part is he's bitching about smoking being bad while he's binge eating
They treat Cartman like that because of the things he has done in the past.
cartman isn't like that because the boys aren't there for him. They aren't there for him because he is like that. He constantly fucks over other people for his gain and has 0 remorse lmao
I agree
Rob Reiner played Michael Stivic, Gloria's husband, on All In The Family. Archie Bunker called him "meathead."
Why not, he looks like his head is stuffed with meat.
Tobacco was a bigger cash crop then cotton in the southern colonies
What to takeaway from this episode instead of offense: Never take health advice from an obviously unhealthy person.
That fire alarm took too long after the fire to go off
Always love watching your South Park reactions… It’s like I’m watching the episode with a friend 💪🏻
I believe you are right. If they were after Kyle, Kenny, or Stan, they would have stuck together. If Eric's friends would not have been treating him like garbage in the earlier episodes, then maybe he would not have been as bad as he is today. I thought I was the only one who was thinking this.
Big facts bro!! I honestly believe that. I came from the it takes a village to raise a kid.. so they all had a hand in making him like this
@@quizzyondemand Yep
Cartman helped the group alot of times too
@@Sasukeuchiha-xt3lk Yep.
I used to be a smoker in my early 20's and, how I feel is if you want to smoke go for it. As long as people don't smoke in places they aren't allowed to like a clothing store or a restaurant where they might cause health issues for others then it's fine..... let people make choices and if they need help quitting let them decide when it's time for them to quit. It's not like they are pulling out guns and shooting people and suddenly they get addicted to shooting people, they are doing something that relaxes them and helps them continue their life the way they want it to be continued.
That whole second hand smoke comment at the end did not age well. In fact, it was proven to be true not long after the episode aired
You know, I hear this all the time, but when/where has this been proven. Tell me where I can find this information so I can see the proof for myself. I’ve looked and can’t find anything other than a few sites promoting smoker cessation products. Nothing published with scientific research and actual cases or trials. I’ve also certainly never knew or seen anybody with some ailment due to second hand smoke. So where can I find this proof!. Sure I believe it’s worst than breathing fresh air, but I’ll bet it’s no more bad for you than inhaling exhaust fumes while sitting at a red light or working some factory.
@@erickthomas325Brah are you for real? I searched it and it was THE FIRST FEW RESULTS, off the CDC’s website🤦🏻there are like, a ton of sources after that as well. Did you actually TRY looking for it?
I remember Penn & Teller debunked it in an episode but I'm no expert.
@@erickthomas325 When you smoke, you breathe it into your lungs, which causes cancer and other problems. You're telling me that same smoke won't hurt other people because they aren't the one smoking?
Also last time I checked, it's not good to inhale exhaust either. Especially when it's continual, like living with a smoker. But sure, it's safe apparently
@@Agent_3141 Yes that’s what I’m saying. Unless they’re around a hundred smokers, constantly smoking, all at once. In a closed room. For months if not years. Then maybe!
6:15 when I was in 5th grade three of my friends and I went to the skatepark. We were offered cigs by some 12th graders. The other 3 smoked and I ran home and called the police on them 😂 now I'm here cheefing every night
Talking about people critizising this episode: The specific scene in which "one of the boys" goes 'so, without tobacco, many of our black friends wouldn't be here today!' got mentioned in a negative context, too. And wouldn't you know it: This rewatch reveals that it was none other than CARTMAN who came up with it.😂😂😂
"Which means if it wasn't for tabacco, many of our black friends wouldn't be here today"
Yeah that's one way to put it I guess... 😂
Anytime thr kids say "oh no" or "im out"
Just knoe that episode finna be some othershit 😂
4 years now. Love you QUIZZZAAAAY!!!!
MY BROOK LOVE YA TOO !!
They don't care about Cartman, but he has imposed in them, they know is better to have him on their side. They are sacared of him because they know what he is capable of
all time classic episode
They got grounded anyway, AND they had to go through the "I've learned something today" cliche.
Smokin 1 right now, here in Ireland
33:13 see there you go projecting again!!😊
People like this make people smoke more. When you tell kids not to do something cause its dangerous theyll do it more.
No, they wanted to send the evil cartman back to the dimension not the good Cartman...
Cartman would be a selfish, manipulative, bigoted little jerk no matter how they treat him. Look at Butters. He looks up to Eric and says Eric is his best friend on many occasions, and Eric does extremely fucked up shit to him all the time anyway.
He's not the way he is because of the way he's treated. He's gets treated the way he does because of the way he is. Just my thought on the matter.
13:47 sounds like you know blastphamoushd.. atleast in his reaction videos he usually eats something 😂
I don't think tobacco companies ever legitimately intended to appeal to children as so many of these anti-tobacco advocacy groups claim. Yes, it's true that classic cartoon characters from famous properties such as Disney, WB, MGM and Hanna-Barbera have been seen smoking and drinking alcohol from time to time but what many people don't understand is that when these cartoons were made, they weren't intended solely for children but were actually marketed more towards adults! Remember when the Flintstones were sponsoring in Winston cigarettes ads during the 60's? Well, what many people probably don't know today is that The Flintstones were considered a more adult cartoon and was even aired at primetime like 8 PM!
I only smoke weed so the children cant get ahold of it. always do what i can to help the children.
They be trippin'? No, I be trippin'! They be out of their minds!
20:52 NOOOOI BOIIIIII that boyyy is a butler for the Adams family boyyyyyyyy😂
I always light one up for some Quizzy
11:24 MIKEEEEEE WASOWSKIIIIIII lookinnn assss
"Butter!"
What did he say??
"Butter!"
I enjoy a cigar occasionally
Dude, You KNOW why the kids would ditch Cartman. He's a monster 🤣 WAY before they gave up on him. He's only still around (not because they're friends but) because he keeps coming back. He NEEDS somebody to harass, so he can revel in their misery. He just hasn't gotten the clue that it's over. Cartman always wants somebody to have his back but he will ALWAYS double-cross the people he relies upon.
Just got into ur south park videos and ur fun as hell to watch. Subbed!
And here I thought that kind of cringy, awkward, over-enthusiastic, all-singing, all-dancing, let’s-sit-down-and-rap-with-our-young-homies educational theatre only existed here in the UK 😂
Wait, so if it wasn’t for tabaco we wouldn’t have Quizzy? Nah just kidding much love man, love the content
watching you on my break got me dead bruh 😂
It's the rushing and heavy breathing while eating that gets me. I always anticipate food about to fly or being able to see their food as they chew it. Yech
I respect your commitment to making videos, im smoking two joints and saluting you.
19:20 he knew what I was thinking
ODG gonna hit that 1 mill to ! ODG 4 Life !
Believe that bro
26:54 EDP moment.
0:33 i dont wanna be that guy but i work a factory job in a steel factory it could be worse dude
Extremely relevant today.
That guy is literally eating something in every scene . How is he not dead? Or better yet how is he not bigger?
2:50 welll guess what beaaachh im smoking watching thiss videooooo 🚬🚬🚬🚬🚬🚬 suckkkk ittt😂
i love your view on choice its very true and thats even matt and treys point in this episode
Great reaction as usual man, love your humor and your commentary.
Me watching this episode sm0king 🧍
Their not fake they told him they didn’t want to do the commercial it was his choice 28:15
29:00 , in a lot of ways Cartman is a reflection of someone who has an absent Father and push-over mother. Quite similar to me when I was growing, almost constantly absent father (still had one, almost didn't kinda, still more than Cartman) and an oblivious, perpetually lying, like 100% sure she was whoring herself, yet loving Mother. I use to imitate Cartman all the time in school as I was a consistent sometimes obnoxious class clown/minor bully. Stan & Kyle, more or less have normal households and they both grow more or less normally throughout the show. Kenny, Cartman & Butters are all disaster cases because their parents are total shit, it really is an expose on humanity and most importantly American homes. This is all real, it happens all the time, sure its all kind of over the top and exaggerated, its a comedy show. Still, every kid is almost a perfect case study as to why these kids come out the way they do. How much blame can you even place on a kid, really? Without following the trail of what led him here. Stan & Kyle don't get it, they live in a somewhat more sane world, thinking, logic. They have a support system. They can go straight to their Father's for help in any bind they find themselves in and Randy/Gerald almost always answers the Call, like a good father would, regardless if their actions are ridiculous in certain ways. Cartman is in rebellion because he is always suffering, he was touched by his uncle, his mom is a whore and knows it, no real dad, he never gets away from it truly until way way later in the series. He is constantly reminded only of his faults and his weight, no one ever compliments cartman on ANYTHING, sounds like the same thing I went through. He wants to be cool so very badly, but he never can be, nothing he does is cool to anyone, no one thinks the things he likes and does is cool. He wants to be Special, no matter what it takes, Being on a Tobacco Commercial, Cheesy Poofs Commercial, any sort of Fame & Recognition, Validation. When it seems like no one notices you, it can consume you, to be noticed. An old African Proverb "The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth". Past a certain point, he takes nothing but shit from everyone, so why would he give a shit anymore? You Break Bad. Any kid with a broken home in the show, is a broken kid.
What a ride this episode is.
Kenny Lines
(Coughing)
Well yep that's what I think.
In huh.
Man i went to a run down alternative school and the anti smoking videos they showed us were from like the 80s so anyways im 27 now and smoke a pack a day
tbf though the other kids did warn cartman ass to stay away from the people but since he felt so high and mighty he went against their warning so i think them not wanting to help cartman is justified that was the whole reason they stepped away so they wouldnt have to deal with it
Butter!
21:49 He works with Rob Reiner, so, unironically probably yes.
8:15 esbestos or like some shi idkk
14:24 smackin those damnnnn lipsss iykyk those who remember that tiktok or vine or whatever it wass from tayton
we tuned innnnn
RONNIES IS MY THEATER OF CHOICE mostly cause I can fuckin walk there BUT ITS MY CHILDHOOD THEATER
19:02 dude chill out. You realy jumepd on that. They werent even trying to be racist or overblown about it. They were simply stating a historical fact and they act shit to cartman cause hes an asshole. Then again they always made fun of him so it depends who started what
Odg family for life
Rob Reiner played "Meathead" on TV's "All in the Family" and South Park made him look like a Cheeseburger!😂
That’s the reason why he’s called like that, his head looks like it’s stuffed with meat
This is a good episode
One day I think you’ll definitely make it to a million. CZcams is all about consistency lol
Oh shit m’kay was so funny 😂🎉
Edit: have a nice day!!
yo comments as funny as the show itself fr
Only smoke when you're drunk guys
More truth in this one episode of southpark than a year of cnn
Love your reactions Quizzy! ❤😂
If I wouldn't smoke my mom would pay car driving lessons. Until my 18 I didn't smoke. Cigarettes.
I allready did half of the drugs Alphabet before that, though. Now it's just my home grown Dutch.
South park is really good and dope🤟🏾💪🏾😌🎉🎉🎉
