The loot is indeed TI dependant, however my experience is that it provides you with what you need at the moment and there are plenty of wrecks and chests. So my tip would be to loot as you see fit.
Yeah they added so many more wrecks now since the first release
@@DrawingPin_ yep just not in the Ice plains as far as i know and lots of cliffs to fall and suffocate.

It's hilarious that your guy got stuck in the animation of him cleaning his tool, I've never seen that happen but damn it had me laughing haha
Had it happen a couple of times now lol
Blue chest around starting area not tiered, (normally those would be ones in lake bed area) but rest of blue are tiered loot, seen people leave blue chest and some of bigger ship until optimizer unlocked, will give best chance at fuses. Gold chest normally good to open early for the golden seeds to help terraformation early game.
Going to grab most of the blue/gold ones as it will help in the long run

this game should have more planets like a planet that is well hot and you have to reverse the heating up planet to cool down

19:45 yeah I learned the hard way to make a habit of building my new o2 resupply huts when my oxygen was down at 50% or 75%, that way if I forgot to bring some material I could walk around and find it before I died. I ended up with a lot of huts all over the map.
Yeah huts all over the place is the only way to go.
having oxygen huts are a must and easiest way to move around, go to for me

The brushing the dust off the tool is the "idle" animation. It gets stuck if you exit from any of the menu screens by using the tab or 'Q' key, as opposed to clicking on the [X] , to go directly to the any other menu screen. *Sometimes* you can fix it by opening any menu and clicking on the [X] to close it. The only other way to stop the animation is to save and reload the game. It won't even go away if you go swimming. Honestly, I think it's annoying even when it isn't stuck.

So I've progressed somewhat further and know where this biome is and what it's like after it's defrosted. It's a nice location looking to move towards that area at endgame

The starting items seem to be randomised; you only got food but you can get water, oxygen or both.
I think you need to have the living compartment sufficiently overhanging the foundation to be able to have the outdoor stairs snap to the doorway rather than the foundation grid.
I don't think any of the Iridium caves are frozen at the start of the game.
I thought you were going to build a fifth T1 Heater back in the Iridium cave?
You need the gold chest for the seeds.
No, the seeds are in the blue boxes as well. Item spawn in the boxes randomly.
Yeah will get some as they have the golden seeds in them.
