What I like in Korean foods is their cleanliness and proper hygiene for preparing foods.
Sure isn't like I see in India vids.
Also how they show the actual calories, and stuff, where you can get at corner stores.

When I worked at fast foods more than 27 years ago I would break down the shake machine and soak the parts in disinfecting solution and put it back together. No one else would do it. They just wiped the outside and said it was clean. If you don't clean it this black gunk would build up, I have a hard time trusting most places now because of the lazy people that wouldn't break down the machine. I know most places are not doing it

I noticed that too! I wonder if that equipment is new since they were going to be filmed or if they just have time to be THAT meticulous - I have worked with fryers in my time with kitchens and they tend to accumulate grime, especially those draining trays.
Taiwan and Korea has one of the most clean hawker and snack stores, I really recommend you to go there! But here in South East Asia all hawkers are kinda smh, and Singapore has good food but it's quite expensive.

I love Korean street food culture. They really have a great variety and opportunity to eat street food. Here in Italy the food is good but we don't have a lot of street food. Good food is concentrated in private homes and restaurants.

Thank you for this video. I was very blessed to have lived in Korea three years. I always enjoyed the street food Hot Ramen and roasted chestnuts and my favorite Duk Boki in the cold winters. When I was in Korea as an American Army Soldier 1989 to 1991. Street food was pretty limited unlike now with an explosion of various foods custom fancy ice cream cones and iced coffee.
Still I always enjoyed what was available then. ☺

nah, they use a rice based batter and not corn batter. That's why they add sugar at the end in order to make up for the lack of sweetness of the rice batter and panko bread in order to make up for the lack of crispiness. It's different, but not really better, IMO.
