I'm originally from Africa. It blew me away when I saw an African in Scotland speaking with a broad Scottish accent. I couldn't stop staring....it was very surreal snd I loved it.

I was livin in the uk for while, but Scotland was one of the best places! Highlands and the accents everything is so perfect! Truly a blessed place with nature, knowlage and diversity. Scott's deserve their freedom !! Love from srilanka ❤️

As a Northern Irish native with a Scottish mate, one of the funniest things I've witnessed was some English folk trying to understand our conversation.

I am English and find it astounding that there are people who have a problem ? I think they must be missing something . As a huge fan of Craig Ferguson I watch him interview people who tell him they can't understand him , please do yourself a favour and enjoy all the World's accents. I am most fond of Eire accents.

Big US fan here. Watching your videos with CZcams's closed captioning enabled is often like all the jokes about Scots & voice recognition. Sometimes it adds an unexpected dimension to your delicious comedy.
As a Canadian with a 2x lethal exposure to the Scottish accent, I can listen to this w/o subtitles. Also, "swapped his personality for a hi-vis vest" got me. X)

I’m an American & visited Glasgow when I came to Scotland. I enjoyed the trip to Edinburgh, but so glad I stayed in Glasgow. I loved it & it felt like home!!! That’s where I’ll stay when I make it back too!! 😍😍😍😍🏴🏴🏴🏴

MidLifeMotorbikeSafety maybe it’s more the fact that England pretty much rules all the other countries in Britain. The Crown banned our national language in the 1600’s- Scottish Gàidhlig- resulting in the language being seen as lower class, physical abuse from teachers if students spoke it and most of all a massive loss of amazing culture. If you haven’t noticed, Britain’s main language is now English which is down to England’s domination of our culture (including Ireland and Wales!) Think what u want mate but if you were Scottish like me you’d be saying the same things when you feel the injustice I’ve felt at the loss of my own culture. Have a think about it. 👍😀

Brilliant, the best Scottish comedian since Billy Connoly, both from Glasgow, no coincidence there, got all the dvd's , put them on when we need cheering up. Know what you mean about Leamington Spa, been there a couple of times, I live 20 miles away, and they don't understand me!

I've been to Glasgow three times already, in Clydebank. I'm from Los Angeles and I find Clydebank quiet and beautiful.
At last I don't have to keep watching Billy and Craig Ferguson for the rest of my life ! I think Kevin is up there with Billy and that is a hell of a thing. My favourite is Kevin talking about having a girlfriend people throw grenades at ! You all get out and try to find a copy of " The Ferguson Theory" . I have found it on VHS . IT is very funny indeed.

I'm Swedish. I have no problem with any Scottish accent I've heard. It sounds perfectly clear to me. Sure, there are lots of local words that I won't be familiar with, but as long
as we're talking about English words spoken globally, it's all good.
The ones who say they can't understand are english. Never mind them. They are using an ancient overused put down. Other favourites of theirs are 'jimmy krankie', 'sweaty sock' , 'jocks' 'alcoholics', 'fried mars bar', 'gingers' e.t.c. They are that predictable

As a Glaswegian that grew up in the states I’ve found myself having to translate for random Scottish people from time to time, typically in a bar, and I usually wind up with a new pal.

I’m American. I rarely have trouble understanding Scottish accents. Or Irish accents. Only if they talk very fast, it’s a bit hard to make out some words, but I can usually understand what they are saying. Love Kevin, he’s absolutely hilarious and I’m so happy to have found him.
Im american and lived in the UK for six months. More specifically the West Midlands near Birmingham. I have a better time understanding the accent in scotland than i do in the West Midlands. Namely in Dudley. Their accents are THICK.
