Kinda lame that a festival as major as ultra shut down due to anything short of tornado or hurricane warnings. Subtronics at veld last year in toronto was during an absolute downpour of a thunderstorm and no-one gave a fck.

It's a good thin Tomorrowland Winter in France didn't have the same issue with thunder as Ultra does. At least their concerts during Tomorrowland Winter was mostly indoors, with maybe one or two places outdoors, but the mainstage was totally indoors to resemble and actual huge auditorium/broadway musical stage and such.
Well considering that the warmth, not to mentioned so many twisters and storms during January - March this year, I'm not surprised that they have to shut down, possibly a category 3 hurricane can come in and Ultra will either have to cancel Miami or re-schedule to April 2024 and such.
Believe it or not the last time this happened was back 4 years ago in March 2020 during the Covid/Sars-2 epidemic, where people paid top money to go there, only for Ultra to shutdown due to the pandemic. So yeah, this is not the first time that Ultra's done this.

Even though Ultra and other music events plan these shows months in advance……Florida is known for always getting hit with random storms and major storms. So even though the weather isn’t always at the top of most people’s priority list when it comes to traveling……if you’re traveling to place that constantly gets hit with random thunderstorms, and tropical systems are known to hit that area….it’s better to check the weather ahead of time just in case.
Well at least Tomorrowland doesn't suffer the same issue as Ultra did tonight. But it happens. If I was a DJ and I knew that a thunderstorm was going to happen down there, I would tell the people that I'm cancelling my performance, possibly because of not only the heavy rainstorms and such, but if this continues, they may end up with category 1 or 2 hurricanes down there and have to evacuate everyone down there due to hurricane season being in full force this year.
