April 9, 2011 - Zepparella with "Ramble On" in the Bing Lounge at 101.9 KINK.FM. Portland, OR FB: / binglounge Twitter: / thebinglounge Tumblr: / binglounge
I have definitely spent a ridiculous amount of time thinking about Zepperella's vocalists. I've gotten to the point where I have Favorite vocalists for certain videos. I really love this version of Ramble On. The vocalists really delivers and makes her mark on this song.
Angeline Saris is such a monster talent on the bass. Not with these fine ladies anymore but her solo stuff and the work with other is so incredible , and she’s a sweetie pie on to of all that. Lol.
I never saw this one before. Christina (original and current) singer is amazing. This lady is very impressive. The blonde vocalist they had for a while was pretty good but I like Christina's style the best.
I love you guys so much; as much as I love Led Zepplin!! Thank you for bring this amazing music back AND doing it in your own sound and style. I just love everyone of you; lead singer I could listen to all day!
Wow love this group. Love their style and how they bring justice to the song and yet make it their own. Very impressed with the new singer too. Outstanding!
I love the marriage of the vocal and guitar in the break! That's just what Page & Plant did so often -- marry their two voices into a single Tao-thing. Beautiful!
Great playing Ladies. Love the melodic Bass, very John Paul Jones. Love the Guitarist. Absolutely delightful drums, delicate backing until...Good vocals. Great performance Girls. More please.
Fantastic. Angeline Saris on bass in such a monster talent. Ms Gretchen’s guitar playing is always solid & Clementine on drums has it nailed. Great version of this song
This is a TRIBUTE band, not a copy band. Even though Gretchen nails all the licks, they're not trying to be Led Zep, they're just paying homage to them. Zepparella are awesome with any lineup, just so long as Gretchen's slinging that axe then they're always gonna sound HUGE!!!!
@@jasondelvaux3036 hi Jason, I posted this because of some comments that were negative towards the band. It's obvious to you and I, but not so much to some others. Cheers.
That singer is freakin' amazing. So nice to hear a band doing their own take on great songs rather than just imitating LZ. Music is so much better when musicians contribute their own style and energy. I detest imitators and tribute clone bands. I wish I could hear the bass. It's mixed far too low. It always is for this band for some reason.
Imitators & clone bands? isn't that what this is all about?? What did Zeparella set out to do? Put a female spin on Imitating Led Zeppelin. When you start to differentiate & critique different styles of tribute band, music is finished as we know it.
No , they’re all very talented artists who wanted to pay tribute to Zeps music. They know there lady’s Angeline Saris on bass is one of the best bassists out there and Gretchen Menn on guitar is also very very highly respected You gotta take the dude aspect out of it and just enjoy there tribute.
Clementine you're so very good at what it is you are doing!! Here it is 2018 I'm 55 just happened to stumble across you guys are you gals on CZcams!! My heart is smiling thank you so much
Jeezus F Christ....I spent my teenage years waiting for the next Zep album,,,this is beautiful. Really, i'm impressed ...good job ladies! I would torch a bowl to you just as much as a zep version.
This is such a great video! Really good cover. Everything clicks. Clementine is so relaxed in the groove. I think despite the fact that this seems like a simple Zeppelin song, it has many layers. Really beautiful.
Why all the hate for this new singer? She's different, especially to Plant, but she still sounds amazing. If every cover was exactly the same as the original where would we be/
It has nothing to do with color, there are a few great black rock singers. This girl, though, is not a Zep fan. She knows zero about the phrasing. a white girl, like Maria Carey, as talented as she is, would make the same mistakes. She is in the wrong genre of music.
I really love this video 😍. It captures the best of Led Zeppelin. Acoustic and electric, yet Gretchen has a single guitar arrangement that Jimmy Page needed layers and layers of studio tracks to accomplish. Clementine, as always, is right where she needs to be. I love watching her play drums. And the lead vocals are exquisite. The whole band really clicks. And it's not just Zepperella vs Zeppelin. It captures the best blend of live sound vs studio magic.
Gives me goose bumps in a good way. To see the smiles between artists, during the changes and the difficult parts, is a life enhancing experience. Making mistakes when one plays, (I was good at that) gives one a chance to, practice and practice, so it doesn't happen again. I still hope Zepparella will perform in Australia. Love.
I love the feeling the drummer gets into this music. All the members I've seen, and I am new to this band, have been amazing, but my favorites were the vocalist and lead guitarist on "when the levee breaks'. are they not still members?
WOW!! I REALLY DIG THIS SINGER.... she seems to be able to handle all of the notes with STRENGTH, like a man singing the song, and she adds a bit of depth that other LZ Cover Bands miss. This Band, albeit a Cover Band, seems to go through members pretty quickly. If they were playing at my Favorite Club, I wouldn't have a problem paying extra for the Cover.
You know, it is rediculous to compare this performance to the album. REDICULOUS! The album was recorded over and over, the producer picking the passages he felt perfect, then spliceing them together to form a song. A "perfect" song. Listen to Led Zeps 1995 "Live" performance and you have got to walk away from it saying to yourself, the girls friggin nailed it! Musicaly, the bass player was as goog as John Paul, Gretchen was as good over all, and better at times than Page, and Clementine , well, was incredible.
You make a great point, but then you seem to contradict yourself by saying that "the bass player was as goo(d) as JP, etc." That's trying again to make an unfair comparison. Suffice to say that they ALL "nailed it"!
Have heard of and even seen an African American man listen to classic rock/hair bands, but to see a African American woman sing a Zep song, just blows my mind...not a hater...
I wonder why they keep changing the vocalist inc this band. Every one sounds so good, but my favorite is the brunette their "When the Levee Breaks" video.
I love the fact a black girl is so into Zeppelin she sings in a tribute band. She could easily gone the Nicki Minaj or Lil Kim route or something unbearable like that. Lovely to see black people go back to that which gave birth to bands like Zeppelin.
saddens me to hear the racial comments.. I think Led Zeppelin and Zepparella far ascend such shallow thinking.. fantastic performance!!! .. Zepparella plays The Zeps music live like they should have been able to
This is really, really wonderful. A quickl and unnecessary thought: I wish I could have been the sound person for when this was being recorded as the instruments are too muffled. But, enough of my brouhaha. I love the feel, playfulness, and passions of these musicians. The singer is a joy to listen to and when the drums kick in, this performance just soars!
The singer has a wonderful, powerful voice. A nice combination of talent here. Cool band.
Their regular singer is better
I have definitely spent a ridiculous amount of time thinking about Zepperella's vocalists. I've gotten to the point where I have Favorite vocalists for certain videos. I really love this version of Ramble On. The vocalists really delivers and makes her mark on this song.
One of the best bass lines in rock history... and well covered!
As a Musician, Guitarist and Bassist i totally agree with You P.
Angeline Saris is such a monster talent on the bass. Not with these fine ladies anymore but her solo stuff and the work with other is so incredible , and she’s a sweetie pie on to of all that. Lol.
@@billc.5861 Yep, super nice lady, incredible bass player.
I dig this singer's voice. Very nice cover.
I love how Miaya sings the guitar solo. Great touch. The best of the Zepparella singers.
I love this lead singer. Her throatiness brings new life to the song. A soulful rendition.
Hopefully she's still gigging somewhere, dig her vocals & energy, feeling female Corey Glover Vibes
I'm hooked
There were times when this rendition sent chills through me. Great vocalist. Great band.
I never saw this one before. Christina (original and current) singer is amazing. This lady is very impressive. The blonde vocalist they had for a while was pretty good but I like Christina's style the best.
@@Teslafied Noelle Doughty. Christina is by far the best singer of the band's history. Her harmonica play is awesome too.
This vocalist has soul and stage presence! " Great recording"
Love this performance. They give such a fresh feel to this song. Powerful, funky, raw and real. I've gotta get a studio track of this.
I watch it over and over. Thank you for a fantastic performance
These ladies are outstanding! Well done...
I love the marriage of the vocal and guitar in the break! That's just what Page & Plant did so often -- marry their two voices into a single Tao-thing. Beautiful!
Ditto that!
Great playing Ladies. Love the melodic Bass, very John Paul Jones. Love the Guitarist. Absolutely delightful drums, delicate backing until...Good vocals.
Great performance Girls. More please.
I keep coming back...great job ladies...something rare and precious. Bless you xx
Fantastic. Angeline Saris on bass in such a monster talent. Ms Gretchen’s guitar playing is always solid & Clementine on drums has it nailed. Great version of this song
The part where the vocals match the guitar is awesome...just ethereal!!!!!
Wow!!! That's always been one of my favorites. You really did this song justice.
J Vegas .. Who was that one lead vocals?????not bad right..
we all get lost with Gretchen.. but it's Clementine that makes it all happen
Why would anyone think anything different? Why do you feel it necessary to explain the purpose of this band?
@@jasondelvaux3036 hi Jason, I posted this because of some comments that were negative towards the band. It's obvious to you and I, but not so much to some others. Cheers.
Over thinking this dude. Names labels have NO meaning. Rather than dissect, listen and enjoy.
Sounds Great
Thanks For Keeping Rock n Roll Alive
Whoa! This girl can really belt it! Huge voice from a small lady!
Great job girl!! All of you!! Love this song
I love the way Gretchen does the solo with the harmonies. I don't Page even done that live. She's a really good guitarist.
When the drummer does that thing with the sticks up in the air... awesome!!!
That singer is freakin' amazing. So nice to hear a band doing their own take on great songs rather than just imitating LZ. Music is so much better when musicians contribute their own style and energy. I detest imitators and tribute clone bands.

The vocalist is fantastic.
Its the talent, love, time, and hard work they put into it that matters. BEAUTIFUL.
Great performance, rocking voice !
Damn that drummer! She's carefree and enjoying to the fullest unlike others!
unbelievable how good this is. power from this lead singer and riff makers
Singer belts this out really raw...just like RP.
Great singer love it,,great sound
Black white green don't care ..good voice ...all the best for her love it
Love the old singer, love the new one. Love 'em all. Perfect.
Back again..😂😂 Damn this really is that good.🤗🤗🤗👏👏👏
Wow... shame on all of you talking bad about this woman. She is a fantastic singer... and sexy. She's doing a great job.
digging this singer!
This band goes through a lot of singers, this is the 3rd one, that I know of.
Not as many girls as Led Zep went through.
well said
Clementine you're so very good at what it is you are doing!! Here it is 2018 I'm 55 just happened to stumble across you guys are you gals on CZcams!! My heart is smiling thank you so much
Only cover I've heard that shows respect for the classic and takes it to another great place. Anyone know other Zepparella vids with this singer?
Jeezus F Christ....I spent my teenage years waiting for the next Zep album,,,this is beautiful. Really, i'm impressed ...good job ladies! I would torch a bowl to you just as much as a zep version.
She sounds great to me, they are a great band!
Great cover. The singer really brings that tune to life.
Absolutely dig it!
....oh what a show ! ...thank you so much.
Give the lady props , for originality and effort.
That bassist thump the hell out of this song...Ramble on!
This is such a great video! Really good cover. Everything clicks. Clementine is so relaxed in the groove. I think despite the fact that this seems like a simple Zeppelin song, it has many layers. Really beautiful.
Awesome!!!! All the musicians in this band!!!
Fantastic vocals. Y love Zapparella.
Okay the drummer wins. She got's that Bonham bang. Great band...
...but that vocalist is amazing also!
Clementine just lulls us into a pleasant stupor during the verse and then lets rip for the chorus. Brilliant
Excellent. Her voice gave me goosebumps a couple times.
Dammit!! I'm supposed to work when this is on?? I don't think so!! Wow!! TY!
Why all the hate for this new singer? She's different, especially to Plant, but she still sounds amazing. If every cover was exactly the same as the original where would we be/
You are a racist
Lol....She's black - you mean like the musicians Zeppelin got a lot of their material from?! Pathetic twat.
It has nothing to do with color, there are a few great black rock singers. This girl, though, is not a Zep fan. She knows zero about the phrasing. a white girl, like Maria Carey, as talented as she is, would make the same mistakes. She is in the wrong genre of music.
WreckinballRick lol your funny..😜
Just too loud
Great that singer did just a great job love the band...
greatness ... thanks for sharing
Now then. This is fantastic. Absolutely one of the best covers I’ve seen

Ok, this is the BEST, can't stop watching that singer, she's the bestest!

Aww Man! Why did this vocalist leave the band!! She is great!! Meanwhile Gretchen and Clementine are as good as ever!!
Nicely done ladies!
Enjoyed yur version. Thank you for posting!

Miaya Shambry is awesome and she's a cutie!!
very cute.. Is she a portland local? never heard of her
Oh yea!
Man I really love this!
Gretchen I really love your arrangement of this song.
I love the feeling the drummer gets into this music. All the members I've seen, and I am new to this band, have been amazing, but my favorites were the vocalist and lead guitarist on "when the levee breaks'. are they not still members?
The band still kicks regardless of the lead singer. She can sing no doubt. I do miss Anna.
Awesome...Still hear Zepparela on December 2020, Rawk On !!
Great performance and singer. U nailed it good.

Best cover i ever heard
I'm going to see Zepparella this Friday in Oroville can't wait it's going to be awesome
How was it?
Better drummer than most guys. The bass always was the heart of this song and she has it down.
She is competent, but better than most guys? No, sir.
She's a great drummer.
Where is the bass line? This song has that hard blusey bass riff c'mon this sucks
you done triggered these lil boys down here.
This is the jazz version of ramble on
Fantastic singing. What Feeling!
Great job of vocs lady, bass lady, Miss Clem and Miss Menn!!!
Love the mix... THANKYOU WOLF CANADA.. you have been added ..
Nicely done, ladies!
That lady has some pipes! 👍

What the F, are you talking about That black girl is BEAUTIFUL !!!
Her singing performance is the best.
What racial comments? Douche, stop looking for division. Or. maybe it's you that divides........
The irony of such comments is that Robert Plant's biggest influence were black bluesmen. Well, I guess people like Bessie Smith too.

Great version.
Great singer!
Great guitar work
Down and gritty! Whoa-yeah!
Damn her voice is amazing! Can someone tell me her name?
Miaya Shambry
This is an amazing cover - it's great when bands put their own spin on things. The band is great and love the singer.
Just another Masterpiece... Thank you Zeppies!
Her voice is beautiful magic

One of the best versions of Zepparrella
