- I have a 2018 Jeep Renegade that did not come with Android Auto because you cant get it. (for whatever reason) So I bought this head unit so I could have Android Auto in my car. Check out the review and a bit of the features of this unit.

Yes!!! I picked this video for it's length because I would be able to fill in some blanks on this stereo that the 132 page manual did NOT address.
You got absolutely taken a for a ride by the people who installed your radio. I purchased this same unit at Best Buy for $350 + another $150 for the wiring harnesses that INCLUDED steering wheel controls + free install which totaled out to be just over $530 all together with taxes. The guy has been installing radios for the past 15 years so he was great with my car. Sorry that you had to pay so much. The unit is great though.

I agree. I went to BB and bought the h/u, dash kit, wire harness, antenna, and a 4yr Geek squad protection for $576. Installation was free.
@@griffin2765 I did the math and it was the same I went to BB got H/U for 350 open box. harness dash kit S/W 175 and 50 for back up cam. installation was free but id have to wait 2 weeks. (covid b s ) Did it myself in drive way lmao. 575. Just need to get a harness to mirror link Yt and Netflix.
He also had the camera put it in too with that price too. I think.
It has 50 Watts max per channel, but the RMS is 14-22 Watts per channel. Pretty standard for aftermarket HU.
I'm sorry you got hosed from that shop. And I have a Jeep Renegade with total Pioneer Audio system. What a car audio name (JOKER)

PS, did you see how old those Macs were? Circa 2008-10-ish... I guarantee Windows PCs wouldn’t have lasted that long, so cheaper vs value is all relative

Question, is the Android Auto wireless because I've seen other videos where they run a USB through the back of the stereo.
My version was not wireless, mine had the cable from the back. For an extra $90 or so, I could of gotten wireless Android Auto.
I had Bestbuy installed it today. However, I can hear a fan noise coming from the back of the unit when the unit powered on. It would stay on till I turned off my car. Is this normal?
Yes, if I drove for a while I would hear that fan for a short time after turning off the car. I think it just helped cool the unit but I do remember mind doing that same thing.

Yes they did. It worked without any issues.

I have a 08 Chevy silv 1500 when I connect it, it sound staticky and quiet does anyone know why? I. Can’t find any help online spent almost 500!!😭😭
Humm... Could be something with the wiring. Is anything clear? Like radio or just static with Android Auto/car play? If just car play/android auto try a different USB cable.
@@BigCVlogs everything works perfectly fine Bluetooth/screen just the audio sounds bad idk why bro should I take it to car toys to see if they can install it? Cuz I’m pretty sure all the wiring is good

You really overpaid, but as long as you're happy with the install and you like the unit it's all cool. Got mine at Best buy, installed, for under $400

I got mine from best buy as well. open box 300 for the head unit. I like it alot. just need to get an adapter to mirror my phone for youtube n Netflix if u got any tips lemme know
I'm wanting this for my 2005 Cadillac Deville and it's daunting to save up for. I'm worried it won't fit or it'll cost way more than I'm expecting. Do you like it so far? Was it worth all that money?

Is there a way to find out how to use weblink I've had this thing for 6 months and can't figure it out. When I play CZcams on weblink audio plays out of my phone and not through my car. I've connected weblink I've contacted pioneer no one can give me an awesome I've been at it for 6 months now. They both blame it on the other company this really sucks I have this feature I can't even use I wasted my money on this thing for sure. Please help I'm desperate
CZcams is probably your best bet or online also.

Do you have any issues with sun glare on the screen?
A few times but it was in direct, direct sun. Other than that, no it was great.
Can you actually play a CD? The description on Best Buy says DVD and no for CD?
Yes it plays CDs. Even burned CDs.

Hey can you see if the Amazon Music app works on this head unit for android auto Pretty please?? I cannot find anything on if it is a app that's available to use or not on it. Thinking of buying this head unit. I'd really appreciate it :)
I can test it. I know Plex works and that app is not nearly as popular as Amazon Music.

Yes. Theres a place in the back that allows you to plug it in.
