Even as someone who’s more of a casual Star Trek fan, I could probably hear Sean talk about Star Trek for hours because I always love to hear people talk so excitedly about what means so much to who they are today.
When I was a single guy, I committed myself to watching all the star trek movies since I wasn't that familiar with them. After watching the first one, I thought "oh boy what have I gotten myself into". But then I watched Wrath of Khan and was blown away. Such a great movie that everyone should watch even if you are not a sci fi fan.
I've learned to respect the first movie but LOL, I would never recommend that to a friend if they wanted to start watching Star Trek.
I’ve been watching Sean Chandler since 2017, and I’ve never seen Star Trek 😂 this might just actually be useful for me 👍
As someone who has seen Star Trek 2009 and really enjoyed it and hasn’t seen any of the original content I am definitely going to check these out.
They should've got Robert Meyer Burnett to talk on Star Trek
My hosts can be easily annoying but this guy was super awesome. Just down to earth, willing to listen, seems like he's happy to be there. And of course sean is always a well cut sincere guy too. Good vibes
It helps that the way this happened was because he likes my content. So he's able to set me up nicely and banter just a bit.
You were very well spoken and charismatic while live, that's crazy. Good for you mate
I appreciate that! They've had me on a few times now. Surprisingly I haven't dropped the ball in any big ways yet. Haha
5. The Voyage Home
4. The Search for Spock
3. First Contact
2. Undiscovered Country
1. Wrath of Khan
This was all around good vibes
My list just for the hell of it.
5. First Contact, this is the only really good TNG movie which is too bad because I think TNG is the best series in the franchise.
4. The Voyage Home is really underrated and so 80s in the best ways.
3. The Undiscovered Country was a great send off for the original cast and I think this is Captain Kirks true ending. LOL, I don't count Generations.
2. The Search for Spock, great movie and Spock returning didn't feel cheap. It was all really well done.
1. The Wrath of Khan, perfect movie that gets better with age.
galaxy quest is easily the best, "all of this is true because it rhymes" - vitruvius
@SeanChandlerTalksAbout, I can’t wait to do this and honestly I have a cold right now and I can’t wait to check these out as good starting points
Sean is an employee of the news station at this point.
I started enjoying Star Trek by watching the Next Generation show, then I enjoyed the Bad Robot Star Trek movies, and the rest is history.
Just as you said "That is not a deep dive for lifelong Star Trek fans," I was typing that is not a deep dive.
Sean, maybe you can do a vid about the top 10 rotten scores that you disagree with the most 😊
Wrath of Khan and then Star Trek (2009)
greatest video
Love watching this as I am currently watching Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and having just met George Takei this past Labor Day weekend at Dragon Con.
5. Search for Spock
4. The Voyage Home
3. First Contact
2. 2009
1. Wrath of Khan
I hope, Sean, that you and this guy will be able to make a video where you talk movies and other stuff without being on the news and all that. You know, just on a Skype call or something maybe.
I say start with the Classic series with Captain Kirk
Random question but is Aaron Perlman related at all to Ron Perlman 😂 they kinda look alike
I respect your love for STAR TREK, but strongly disagree with your picks. 😂
What is your top 5? I'm just curious, I've 4 of these movies in my top 5 but not the 2009 movie, it's pretty good but I like The Search for Spock more.
@@BishopWalters12 I think all the NG films are absolutely terrible and it's ridiculous to see any Trek fan recommending SNW. Those are the main differences in opinion for me. Everyone has there own taste, though, and I do enjoy the 2009 film, but it's sequels are trash😁
@@FreeFree-ur4zq Fair enough, I don't like SNW and didn't even bother with season 2 but I'm pretty checked out on new Trek in general.
