been there done that , did it alone on a 690 and alone on a 1090r then with my son on a 901 and going forward i think im skipping that section whenever i roll that way , i live near there

Why the hell you doing downhill with depressed clutch??? Did you have an extensive 2-stroke dirt bike background? 1st gear, release the clutch - the engine brake works as a descent control, all you need to do is steer.

Watching these amateur/beginner riders getting over their heads and dropping and crashing what seems like every five meters is entertaining, not to mention the narrow misses when the bike drops on top of themselves, and the helicopter rescues are always a nice touch. When will they learn? I guess after they go through these adventures, and then never do them again....etc. The ADV field seems a little silly at times....what ever happened to the skilled rider videos......Even the real itchy can barely keep her bike up half the time.......
@@itchybaals ignore that guy he must be a blowhard whos never been there , im no pro but been riding dual sport or adv bikes my whole life (im56) and i live and ride in that area , ive ridden the WABDR many time , the IDBDR , ORBDR through USFS roads in some of Montana parts of Utah , Colorado , Wyoming ect and spoke with many others who are more well travelled BDR type riders than myself and they all agree that is the toughest BDR route area of them all , nobody dons ride 500pound+ multi cyl bikes loaded down with camping gear in hard enduro for a reason i dont care how good anyone thinks they are shit happens , you did really well id say especially if thats your first go at the area
