    The worst possible way to go over bumps is while braking at the same time. Because of the braking, the front of the car will tilt forward and the majority of the mass will be put on the front suspension. It is better to lift off of the brakes a bit before hitting the bumps even if your car is going faster than you wanted.

    • @andersnielsen6044
      @andersnielsen6044 Před 2 lety

      @@alexpastor2848 The acceleration is the least relevant. How about the elasticity, agility and comfort of the car? How about the daily use? How about the noise insulation etc.. That is what matters. This video only shows how fast you can kill someone, how fast you can kill the car and how many times you can loose your driver license in 9 minutes..

    Is there an engine drone around 3000rpm? Seems annoying at 140kph. The old 1.4 tsi did not have this....

    • @blazbohinc4964
      @blazbohinc4964 Před 5 lety +3

      No. The engine has 2-cilinder eco mode that turns on all the way up to 120-125kph, but after that, you're always firing all 4 cilinders, so the roughness and vibrations are gone. It's not too loud as well. Gets lost in the background pretty quickly.

    • @SULFURIOUS
      @SULFURIOUS Před 5 lety +9

      1.0 TSI is too small and weak for its weight. It can be in Fabia or Scala. But not in Octavia...
      And both 1.0 and 1.5 TSI have dry-clutch DSG which is one of worst and least reliable gearboxes. 2.0 TSI with wet clutch DQ380 is far better and survived greater mileage and has x2,5 longer clutch lifespan.
      And YES I had DSG. I've got it replaced twice in Audi due to mechatronics failure and sold this crap.

    • @thecevi9179
      @thecevi9179 Před 5 lety +3

      @@SULFURIOUS Of course 1.0 tsi is too small. I drive mk 7 golf with 1.4 tsi manual as one of cars but with 90 kw and that seems to me just fine for that small car. It pull quite well and for everyday commuting its good engine. But nothing sporty of course. 1.4 + is better option for those cars. I dont know about that engine in bigger Octavia though but that 1.5 with 110 kw should be ok i guess.

      @@NaticusFetch51 In my country a Superb costs around 53.500 euro for the cheapest edition. That is around 6.500 euro more than the cheapest Passat. So they are mostly sold to farmers and such old fashion people, who don't want a car to be "flashy" in the neighbourhood and the local city. A new Audi A6 costs around 73.000 euro here. And they are more bought by trendy young business boys (and girls) in the cities. ;) No one in the country side or in the province would buy an Audi A6, cause it simply is way too flashy, unless you are an earl, count, baron or something like that. ;)
