2024-04 - Wales on Energica Eva Ribelle Electric Motorcycle

Footage from my weekend ride in Wales, April 2024 with old friend and touring buddy, Chris.
I'm riding my fully electric Energica Eva Ribelle and he's riding his Honda Africa Twin.
The original plan was to ride the 14 highest public mountain roads in Wales, but having ridden the first few on Saturday, where things were very windy in places, Sunday was set to be even windier going into Snowdonia, so we opted on Sunday to take an alternative route back.
The mountains will still be there for another day.

Interesting "dropping out of hyper-space" noises it makes on the overrun and it certainly tips in to corners nicely. If only I had the money.

Yes, the sounds are actually great.
Certainly not a cheap purchase price tag, but then the running costs are significantly lower than petrol engine bikes.
With my higher than average mileage, it's actually easier to justify, though I admit, this was a purchase out of desire more than practicality, but then I do many more miles on two than four wheels and some people apparently think nothing about spending considerably more on a car.

It would certainly be better in sunnier weather, but it was still great without the sunshine and it could have (and was supposed to have) been much worse!
