    I was born in 1978 so I was a kid in the '80s watched a lot of He-Man the old He-Man is the best

    "JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS" was a CBS Saturday Morning dominator, and for good reason, because along with the opening episode. "The Nemo's A No-No Affair" which first aired on September 12, 1970, the animated Hanna-Barbera series also included a segment called "IN THE KNOW", which also made its Sept. 12, 1970 debut, as "Josie" and The Gang hosted a series of brief segments in-between all the CBS Saturday Morning shows during the 1970-1971 TV season before changing into the long-running "IN THE NEWS" on September 11, 1971. The cartoon series was heavily sponsored by Kelloggs, which included two commercials, including Josie cereal spoons, and Josie's character eraser heads, which were all inside most Kelloggs cereal boxes. The 1971-72 TV season of "JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS" were reruns from the 1970-71 season, but a new series called "JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS IN OUTER SPACE" aired on CBS in Fall 1972, and even appeared as guest stars on CBS's "THE NEW SCOOBY-DOO MOVIES" in 1973. The cartoon series was later rerunned by NBC in Fall 1975.

      "The TEEN TITANS" segment from CBS's "THE SUPERMAN-AQUAMAN HOUR OF ADVENTURE" from Fall 1967 included three "guest star segments", with the voices of future "ONE DAY AT A TIME" co-star, Pat Harrington Jr., Diana Maddox, and Jerry Dexter (who also voiced "SHAZZAN! at Hanna-Barbera in 1967, and later as the voice of "Gary Gulliver" on ABC's "THE ADVENTURES OF GULLIVER" in Fall 1968, and "Alan" on "JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS" in 1970) were another in a series of guest star formats for National Periodical Publications TV (NPP-TV) and Filmation Associates, The reasons for "Robin, The Boy Wonder" TT character not appearing in the 1967 Teen Titans was because of copyright contracts, as "Robin" was already a part of ABC's popular "BATMAN" TV series for Greenway Prods. and 20th Century Fox Television in 1966-1968, the very same year that NPP-TV and Filmation Associates secured the rights for a "BATMAN cartoon series that aired on The CBS Saturday Morning lineup as "THE BATMAN-SUPERMAN HOUR" on September 14, 1968, Batman's very first cartoon series! All the Filmation/NPP-TV cartoons that aired exclusively for The CBS Television Network under various titles from 1966 to 1968, were just seven years before Hanna-Barbera Productions and NPP produced ABC's "SUPER FRIENDS", which began an 11-season run until 1986. Warner Bros.Television officially released the Filmation series as "BATMAN/SUPERMAN/AQUAMAN" in Fall 1970 for general TV syndication that circulated throughout the domestic TV market.

    " Xycon"! King of Saturday morning cartoons. How are you? It's actually Saturday morning this time, and I'm excited about next week as when I see my Dr I'm going to buy some Lego kits! They have Star Wars, Harry Potter, some aqua marine type sets, and I can't just settle for one. Next Saturday morning is going to be " PRO"! Thanks for everything " Xycon", with love, and respect.     Like the predator poster and the diecast toy of skeletor I have not seen one of those since I was a child I used to play with the skeletors toy all the time

    As a 90's kid I've never actually seen any of these old cartoons- just sort of know OF them because of all the pop culture references to them. Love that "mystery solving polycule" was such a persistent trope back then.

    Isis! Hercules! Merlin! Sinbad! All the asian stereotypes given mocking semblance of flesh because we couldn't be bothered to look up any of the relevant history at all! And even Jughead is getting into the weird misguided racism fun! Truly it was a different time, and that time was called Oh No O'Clock.

    Hey Captain! If you're looking for more 90's stuffs, please try Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys! A great sci-fi themed cartoon chock full of sci-fi pop culture references and a couple of cool guest voice actors. It was a 26-ep one-season wonder that left a big impression on me. I think that if you liked Bucky O'Hare, you'd like Captain Simian.
